PV GAS/PV GAS LPG and JCCP: MOA Signing for Improving LPG Cylinder Distribution Management in Vietnam
Under PV GAS’ LPG Retail Market Development Strategy for the 2021-2025 period, aimed at developing its retail network and distribution channels to increase retail LPG output and business efficiency, PV GAS, in collaboration with PV GAS LPG, has been working closely with JCCP, a non-profit organization under the Japanese Ministry of Economy Trade and Industry (METI), and Hagio to conduct research and trials on "Improving the management of LPG cylinders distribution in Vietnam by barcode ".

Mr. Pham Van Phong, President & CEO of PV GAS, expressed his great gratitude to JCCP for their support in applying modern technology across the company’s key sectors. He also conveyed his confidence that the Agreement with JCCP would mark a significant advancement for PV GAS’ LPG distribution, contributing to solidifying its leading position in Vietnam retail LPG market. As an honorary guest at the ceremony, Mr. Masuo Ono, Consul General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City, made a statement affirming that the Japanese Government would continue to fulfill their intergovernmental commitments. They would support Vietnam in industrialization and modernization and stressed on the enhancement of economic ties by promoting investment and trade cooperation between the two nations. He assessed the MOA Signing as a concrete testament to the successful collaboration between PV GAS/PVGAS LPG and JCCP/Hagio Company, highlighting the ongoing development of the amicable and friendly cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Japan as a whole.

Highly valuing the goodwill and positive support from PV GAS/PV GAS LPG over the past several years, Mr. Hitoshi Masuda, Special Counselor of JCCP, expressed they were and would always be willing to assist PV GAS in the areas the company was specialized in. Specifically, it was to carry out various technology transfer projects aimed at assisting Vietnam petroleum industry as a whole, and the gas industry, towards modernization.
