PV GAS Party Committee holds 24th conference
On October 31, the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of Petrovietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) held its 24th conference of the 2020–2025 term, aiming at disseminating and implementing Conclusion No. 76-KL/TW of the Politburo within the Party Committee of the Corporation.

In his opening speech, PV GAS Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Thanh Binh highlighted that the issues discussed at the conference were important to the Corporation’s development in the coming years and to the results of the Party Congress at all levels of the Corporation for the 2025-2030 term. In light of this, he requested that each participant raise their sense of responsibility in studying, discussing, considering, and making decisions.

Petrovietnam Party Committee Deputy Permanent Secretary Tran Quang Dung directly explained the basic and core contents of Conclusion 76, which was said to be essential for Vietnam’s oil and gas industry and help positioning Petrovietnam as a national energy-industrial conglomerate.

PV GAS Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Thanh Binh expressed great gratitude for Petrovietnam Party Committee Deputy Permanent Secretary Tran Quang Dung’s directions, and affirmed that PV GAS would be determined to bring the resolution into practice with specific action plans. Those included: to focus on developing the Corporation rapidly, sustainably, synchronously, and effectively in conjunction with the market mechanism under the supervision and control of the State; to stimulate strong integration into the regional and international markets; to align with the national socio-economic development strategy, and energy master plan; to ensure national energy security, and environmental safety; etc. It was also noticeable that PV GAS, with the advantage as a leading unit of the Group, playing a key role in developing the gas industry for over 30 years, as well as pioneering in Vietnam’s LNG field, was to deploy the integration of its domestic value chain and imports associated with the development of new green energy products.
Regarding PV GAS’ 10-month performance, the Corporation continued to achieve positive results. In the last 2 months of the year, the entire PV GAS Party Committee would continue to focus on directing decisively and effectively to implement the Governance Plan for 2024 to the highest extent.
Studying Directive 35-CT/TW of the Politburo, especially Plan No. 678-KH/ĐU of Petrovietnam’s Party Committee
On the receipt and acknowledgement of Conclusion 76 and related documents, the Standing Committee of the PV GAS Party Committee organized a study to issue a Draft Resolution in response, suitable for the development of the Corporation.
At the conference, the delegates discussed, and unanimously approved the Resolution of the Corporation's Party Committee to compy with Resolution No. 826-NQ/ĐU of the Petrovietnam's Party Committee on leading the implementation of Conclusion No. 76-KL/TW of the Politburo.
Secretary of the PV GAS Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh called on each cadre and party member’s political responsibility to strengthen solidarity, promote the "one team, one goal" spirit, and unleash and maximize all resources, in order to complete the assigned plans and tasks.
