PV GAS names two new Vice Presidents
On January 26, 2024, Petrovietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) organized a ceremony to announce the decision to appoint two new Vice Presidents.

Mr. Nguyen Cong Luan, born in 1980, holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, and a Master's degree in Business Administration. Throughout his presence at PV GAS since 2002, Mr. Nguyen Cong Luan has been a finance and accounting professional with extensive experience as the Chief Auditor, Head of Finance Division, and Chief Accountant of PV GAS, also concurrently a Member of the Board of Directors of Petrovietnam Steel Pipe JSC.
Mr. Nguyen Phuc Tue, born in 1981, graduated as a Chemical and Food Technology Engineer, and has got a Master's degree in Technical Management. Mr. Nguyen Phuc Tue has accumulated many years of experience in various positions and key leadership roles within different units of the Corporation: Deputy Manager of PV GAS Ca Mau Company, Deputy Manager of Ca Mau Gas Processing Plant Project Management Board, Manager of PV GAS Ca Mau Gas Company, Manager of PV GAS LNG Trading Company, Manager of PV GAS Trading Company, and concurrently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of LNG Vietnam JSC.
On announcing the appointment decisions, PV GAS’ President & CEO, Dr. Pham Van Phong conveyed a mandate that the newly appointed Vice Presidents continue to leverage their capabilities, assume their responsibilities with the utmost commitment and work together with the management of PV GAS to successfully accomplish the assigned tasks.

Representing Petrovietnam, Dr. Le Xuan Huyen – Vice President, acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of PV GAS over the past 33 years of development. As the leading unit in the gas industry, PV GAS had played a part in the overall development of the Group. The Group hoped that the leadership team and employees of PV GAS would continue to support the two newly appointed executives.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PV GAS, congratulated the two Vice Presidents on their new positions. In the upcoming period, the financial-accounting and gas business sectors would continue to be central to PV GAS' development strategy. Therefore, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh suggested that the two be more conscious of their responsibilities, as well as the significant tasks ahead, in line with the trust and expectations of the Group and PV GAS' leadership, contributing to maintaining PV GAS' leading position in Vietnam’s gas industry.
