PV GAS Mass Art Festival
As part of the series of activities to celebrate the 4th Congress of PV GAS Trade Union (term 2023 – 2028), with great support of the Party Committee of the Corporation, on June 24th, the "PV GAS Mass Art Festival 2023" was organized and took place at Quan doi phia Nam Theatre.
Attending the event were representatives of PVN Trade Union, including Mr. Vu Anh Tuan - Vice Chairman, and Ms. Luong Thi Hong, Head of the Publicity and Education Department and Women’s Affairs Committee. On PV GAS’s side, there were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Pham Van Phong - Deputy Party Secretary, Member of the Board of Directors and General Director, Mr. Tran Xuan Thanh - Chairman of PV GAS Trade Union and Chairman of PV GAS’s Veterans' Association, the Board of Directors, the Board of Management and others from all divisions and organizations.
The festival featured 15 performances, bringing together nearly 400 performers with nearly 60 sub-performances.
This year's festival brought together nearly 400 performers from 16 affiliated trade unions across the country. With 15 performances comprising nearly 60 sub-performances, it truly became a festive stage event, featuring impressive combinations of singing, dancing and acting. The teams performed with their whole hearts and passionate dedication, with their utmost strength and determination to build a stronger PV GAS community and demonstrate the cultural identity of PV GAS.
With its impressive sound and lighting effects, Quan doi phia Nam Theatre was of great help to make the event professionally organized with spectacular performances. Whether watching the livestream on the Tuổi trẻ PV GAS fanpage or being present at the theatre, everyone was captivated by the 15 performances, which showcased a rich array of colors and combined traditional and modern, youthful, and vibrant elements. Each contributed to painting a vivid picture of life at PV GAS.
The judging panel of the event consisted of highly skilled, reputable, and experienced musicians, singers, and lecturers.
The event’s judges were musicians, singers, lecturers, and artists from various art schools and the evaluation was based on comprehensive criteria such as content, ideology, themes, and how PV GAS’s identity was highlighted throughout the performance. There were 60 prizes to be awarded, including First Prize, Second Prize, Third Prize, Encouragement Prize for solo, duet/trio, group performances, as well as several honorable mentions.
With the theme "KVT But pha thanh cong – Nang tam vi the," the Trade Union of Petrovietnam Gas Vungtau Processing Company excellently won First Prize, the most prestigious award of the festival. Achieving near-perfect scores, the Trade Union of the Executive Office and the Trade Union of PV GAS Ca Mau Company landed Second Prize, followed by 4 Third Prizes and 8 Encouragement Prizes.
The festival took place at Quan doi phia Nam Theatre.
Concluding the event, Mr. Tran Xuan Thanh joyfully affirmed, "All of us are truly outstanding, not only excelling at work but also having great passions for art. Although we are non-professional performers, with all our love for art and the pride of being members of the PV GAS community, today we have performed to the fullest, soaring and proudly presenting ourselves."
The Trade Union of the Southeastern Gas Transportation Company received the most impressive Cheer Team Award.
The success of PV GAS Mass Art Festival is a great testament to the care and attention of the Party Committee, the Trade Union, and the leaders of PV GAS not only towards the physical well-being but also towards the mental life of the employees. The most outstanding and unique performances of the event was to welcome the upcoming Congress of PV GAS Trade Union, for the term 2023-2028, which will take place at the end of this month.
Mr. Tran Xuan Thanh, Chairman of the Trade Union and the Veterans Association of PV GAS, presented the Third Prizes to four units.
Mr. Pham Van Phong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Director of PV GAS, awarded the Second Prize to the Trade Union of the PV GAS Ca Mau Company.
