PV GAS launches a special emulation movement during maintenance and repair while stopping gas supply in 2022
To celebrate the 32nd anniversary of the Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS)’s establishment (September 20, 1990 - September 20, 2022), and to continue responding to the Oil and Gas Culture Week in a practical and effective manner, PV GAS Trade Union and Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union launched an emulation movement for the safe, efficient and timely maintenance while stopping gas supply at Cuu Long, NCS2, PM3 Ca Mau gas systems in 2022.
The emulation objectives included three main points: No occupational accidents while stopping gas supply; Completing all works in the maintenance category on schedule and ensuring quality during this time; and Ensuring the system eligible to receive gas as soon as Vietsovpetro and field owners supply gas again.
The completion of maintenance while stopping gas supply at Cuu Long, NCS2, PM3 Ca Mau was really important, contributing to finishing PV GAS business plan in 2022. The key implementing units were: Petrovietnam Gas Vungtau processing Company (PV GAS VT), PetroVietnam Gas Ca Mau Company (PV GAS CAMAU), PetroVietnam Gas South East Transmission Company (PV GAS SE), and PetroVietnam Gas Services Company (PV GAS Services). Therefore, PV GAS the Trade Union and the Youth Union required the counterparts of the relevant units to sign the emulation commitment to achieve the three emulation objectives; Disseminating and encouraging union members and employees to voluntarily comply with regulations on occupational safety and health-fire prevention and Covid-19 prevention to ensure absolute safety for people, property and environment when gas supply is halted; Coordinating with the authorities to perform well the logistics and take care of their workers in this time; Regularly encouraging and supporting union members and employees to come up with initiatives and solutions to overcome difficulties and problems, complete maintenance safely, effectively and on schedule.
Responding to the special emulation movement launched by PV GAS Trade Union, and Youth Union, relevant units actively responded, signed emulation commitments and made efforts to prepare and carry out the works to complete maintenance and repair well while gas supply was shut down in 2022, allowing the units and the Corporation to carry out their business plan well.
