PV GAS among Top 50 Prestigious and Effective Public Companies of 2023 (VIX50)
Vietnam Report JSC, in collaboration with VietNamNet, recently published The Top 50 Prestigious and Effective Public Companies in 2023 (VIX50), among which 6 business units of PVN were honored. A point worth noticing is that PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) was highly ranked in the list.
This honorable category is to glorify public enterprises with formidable reputation and operational effectiveness, contributing to Vietnam’s economy development and being widely known in both domestic and international business communities for their corporate brands. In order to contribute to the sustainable, secure, and transparent Vietnamese stock market, building credibility is a top priority for a public enterprise. The announcement ceremony acted as a step towards reinforcing the reputation and image of Vietnamese companies and helped them improve the market capitalization, attract shareholders, and establish a long-term successful presence in the stock market.

The market capitalization of the listed, at the time of the ranking announcement, accounted for over 57% of the total market with the average ROE for 2022 reaching 21.1%. The average compound annual growth rates of revenue and profit over a 5-year period were 14.1% and 26.3% respectively. Moreover, there were:
• 29 enterprises with a capitalization exceeding $1B,
• 25 enterprises with revenue surpassing $1B,
• and 43 enterprises with profits exceeding VND 1,000B.
PV GAS to be highly ranked in the Top 50
PV GAS was awarded the Certificate and TOP 50 Prestigious and Effective Public Companies 2023 Cup. In line with that, the company was granted the legal right to use the "VIETNAM TOP 50 PUBLIC COMPANIES" logo in its promotional and branding activities throughout the year. During the announcement ceremony, PV GAS was showcased on e-standees and featured in the Vietnam CEO Insights 2023 report under the theme "Discruptive Thinking: How Large Enterprises Survive a Recession and Thrive Afterward" as well as in various promotional materials related to event. Eventually, the company is now displayed on the VIX50 Ranking website at https://top50vietnam.net/.

In line with that, Vietnam CEO Summit 2023, themed "Data Economy: The Opportunity for Enterprises to Make Global Breakthroughs" jointly organized by Vietnam Report and VietNamNet, took place on the same day, drawing considerable attention from the business community. The conference aimed to provide leaders of major Vietnamese enterprises with a comprehensive perspective on technological trends amidst the rapidly evolving worldwide digital transformation with numerous empowered innovative products and services such as artificial intelligence and big data.
