Launching ceremony of Thi Vai LPG Tank project
A launching ceremony of Thi Vai LPG Tank project on February 17 was held at PV GAS Vung Tau Terminal (PV GAS VT).
Representatives of PV GAS investor attending the ceremony were Mr. Tran Van Du - Director of PVE Oil Gas Project Management Consultancy Joint Stock Company ( PVE PMC); and Mr. Le Tat Thang - Director of Petrovietnam Gas Vungtau Processing Company (PV GAS VT). Mr. Tran Hoai Nam - Deputy General Director of Petrovietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) was from EPC general contractor and representatives of leaders from functional divisions at PVE PMC, PV GAS VT and PTSC also attended the ceremony.
The Thi Vai LPG Tank project includes 03 LPG tanks with a capacity of 2,000 tons of LPG each, along with technology and auxiliary systems to serve the PV GAS needs, and production and trade strategy at PV GAS VT with the function of LPG products import, storage and export. Moreover, the project also aims to create a premise for optimizing and improving the efficiency of land use at the PV GAS VT’s area in the following stages. The “Thi Vai LPG Tank” project “with LPG spherical storage tanks, connected to the existing infrastructure of the current terminals, will be carried out to increase the storage capacity and the operational efficiency of LPG storage system, meeting the goal of sustainable development and increasing competitive advantages in the LPG field of PV GAS.
Congratulating the new cooperative event, leaders of the two sides affirmed the practicality and good cooperative capacity between PV GAS/ PVE PMC, PV GAS VT and PTSC, in line with the operation model of the Group and its units’ urgent needs to strengthen cooperation, share resources, information, experiences ... to develop together. PV GAS and PTSC committed to completing the requirements successfully- safely- effectively; demonstrating the determination to make efforts to co-operate with each other to carry out the Project with the goals of bringing benefits to them, contributing to and increasing the value chain.
At the ceremony, the leaders performed a ceremony to kick off the project, showing the co-operative spirit with the goal of completing the work and putting the project into operation soon, bringing benefits to both units and contributing to the growth of the Oil and Gas Industry and the economy - society in general.
