Turn-around maintenance completed and NCS2 Project’s the Second Phase at Dinh Co Gas Processing Plant connected successfully

PetroVietnam Gas Vungtau Processing Company (PV GAS VT) from September 22-30 successfully implemented the major turn-around maintenance and connected with the NCS2 Project’s the second Phase at Dinh Co Gas Processing Plant (GPP) in Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province.

GPP specifically started to stop gas to implement the turn-around maintenance in 2020 from 7:30 a.m. on September 22. As of 9:00 a.m. on September 28, all (64/64) of jobs in the turn-around maintenance have been completed, including all 21 jobs of regular maintenance, all 15 ones of unexpected maintenance, all 24 ones of preventive maintenance and all 4 ones of calibration. The turn-around maintenance was carried out urgently, safely, and on schedule, with no major arising problems. Along with that, the connection to receive the gas source from the NCS2 Project’s the second Phase was also completed. By 5:00 p.m. on September 29 PV GAS VT’s the plant was resumed operating. GPP’s turn-around maintenance plan and connection with the NCS2 Project’s the second Phase were completed excellently and 31 hours earlier than the plan.

In the turn-around maintenance and connection with the NCS2 Project’s Second Phase, PV GAS VT ensured and maintained security and safety regularly to avoid occurring no occupational accidents and security incidents although the number of outsourced human resource were up to 250 people from 25 contractors and its personnel and the Gas Service Company. Moreover, COVID-19 epidemic control and prevention was carried out regularly and seriously. The logistics of stopping gas was carried out methodically and thoughtfully to help protect well and ensure the health of workers.

The turnaround and connection with NCS2 project’s the Second Phase  at GPP were carried out successfully with careful preparation, strict safety control of PV GAS VT, and good coordination between units in PV GAS and the efforts of employees. The concentration of all resources to implement solutions flexibly and effectively helped complete the turnaround maintenance and the connection with the NCS2-GĐ2 project in accordance with the criteria of "Safety, Quality, Progress".
