The Board of Directors at Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) announces its Resolution to elect its Chairman and the Decision to appoint the General Director
Basing on working requirements and cadre affairs, and approved by the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, the Board of Directors (BOD) at Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) has announced the Resolution No. 58/NQ-KVN on the election of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Member of the PV GAS Board of Directors as its Chairman. Whereas, the PV GAS Board of Directors also announced its Decision No. 668/QD-KVN on the appointment of Mr. Pham Van Phong - Member of the PV GAS Board of Directors as the General Director of Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh was born in 1977. With a Master of International Business, he has worked at PV GAS since 2009. Before the role as Chairman of the PV GAS Board of Directors, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh previously held many other important management positions at PV GAS such as: Head of Gas Import and Development Division, Director of Petrovietnam Gas Trading Company (PV GAS Trading), Deputy General Director of PV GAS and Chairman of the Directors Board at Petrovietnam LPG Joint Stock Company.
Mr. Pham Van Phong was born in 1977. With a PhD in Chemical Engineering, he has worked at PV GAS since 2008 and held many management positions in the Oil and Gas industry. Before the role as General Director of PV GAS, Mr. Pham Van Phong held many other important management positions at PV GAS such as: Head of Project Development Division - Petrovietnam Gas Projects Management Company, Deputy of Management Board for Ca Mau Gas Processing Plant Project, Director of Petrovietnam Gas Products Trading Company, Deputy General Director of PV GAS and Chairman of the Directors Board - Director of LNG VIETNAM JSC.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - the new Chairman of the PV GAS Board of Directors expressed his deep thanks to the Board of Directors at Vietnam Oil and Gas Group; The Corporation’s Board of Directors and the collective of officers and employees, the PV GAS general meeting of shareholders trusted and elected the executives of PV GAS at the 2023 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.
