Southeastern Gas Transport Company completes the maintenance and repair in 2021 ahead of schedule
During Nam Con Son 1 gas pipeline system stopping the gas supply for major maintenance and repair in 2021, PetroVietnam Gas South East Transmission Company (PV GAS SE) has collaborated with relevant units to complete all 27 assigned tasks 36 hours ahead of schedule, ensuring to achieve the goal of "Safety - Efficiency - Progress".
With the target of maintaining and ensuring the absolute safety and reliability of the system; as well as meeting high standards in the operation of gas works, on September 1-5 when the Nam Con Son 1 gas pipeline system stopping the gas supply, PV GAS SE has collaborated with other units to carry out the turnaround maintenance and repair in 2021 once every 5 years.
According to the approved plan, TA 2021 was done continuously within 5 days at Phu My Gas Distribution Center (Phu My GDC - Phu My Town, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province), Nhon Trach Gas Distribution Center (Nhon Trach GDC - Nhon Trach District, Dong Nai Province) and valve stations.
At 00:30 a.m on September 1, PV GAS SE started maintenance and repair at items relating to the NCS1 Gas System. During this period of stopping the gas supply, the company carried out 27 planned tasks.
To carry out the COVID-19 prevention and control well, strictly comply with the " three on-site" model in industrial parks with the outbreak’s complex evolution, PV GAS SE closely collaborated with PetroVietnam Gas Services Company (PV GAS Services) to optimize human resources but still ensure the quality in the implementation of the planned tasks. The total number of employees in the TA 2021 was more than 220 people including the ones of two companies and other contractors.
In spite of complex and heavy workload; the shortly planned time of stopping the gas supply (5 days) and especially the Covid-19 outbreak’s complex evolution, with careful preparation and strict safety control; high concentration of all resources, and others, PV GAS SE collaborated with other units to complete all planned tasks in TA 2021 by 12:00 on September 4, ensuring to achieve the goal of "Safety - Efficiency" - Progress". Thus, with the efforts of the company and its relevant parties, the system soon supplied gas to customers 36 hours ahead of schedule.
