PV GAS’s Trade Union to donate VNĐ 600 million for health officials working at main airports

Trade Union of Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) has called on its staff to donate VNĐ600 million for the Government’s fundraising programme to support health officials working at Nội Bài and Tân Sơn Nhất international airports for COVID-19 prevention and control. 

Complying with Prime Minister’s instruction on continuing to strengthen COVID-19 prevention and control in a new situation; and Responding to the movement on calling on all people in the country to fight against COVID-19 pandemic of Việt Nam Fatherland Front Central Committee, executive boards of the PV GAS’s Trade Union, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, and War Veterans’ Association launched a fundraising campaign for COVID-19 prevention and control in March. 

They could present cashes or transfer money online. All staff were enthusiastic to respond to the campaign. As much as VNĐ 600 million from the campaign and Disaster Relief Emergency Fund donated by PV GAS’s staff was presented to health officials working at the Nội Bài and Tân Sơn Nhất airports. The health officials in each airport got VNĐ 300 million. 

On March 24, PV GAS’s Trade Union came to Airports Corporation of Việt Nam and International Health Quarantine Centre to present VNĐ300 million for the health officials. 
PV GAS’s representative team will visit the Nội Bài airport to present the rest VNĐ300 million to health officials there.
