Seminar: Contractor Safety Management 2023
On August 25, 2023, KVT organized "Contractor Safety Management Seminar 2023” – an annual event aimed at evaluating safety work over the past year. Through this, inquiries and aspirations from contractors can be discussed and addressed.
KVT’s General Manager Le Tat Thang expressed hopes for an intensified cooperation of the company with their contractors.
Representatives from KVT and contractors actively engaged in discussions on identifying challenges and existing issues in any process, as well as solutions to maintain absolute safety at work. With the Safety Culture "Commitment - Compliance - Integrity - Learning", KVT committed to collaborate with their partners in safety management, especially in terms of communication by conducting daily Toolbox talks before engaging in any hazardous work, and lastly, the digitalization of procedures and safety checks.
At the conclusion of the program, KVT recognized and honored the Top 3 contractors who had demonstrated the best adherence to safety practices in 2022 and the first half of 2023: LTech Trading and Technology Joint Stock Company, Trung Tin Asia Service Trading Company Limited, and Viettech Technology Trading Service Company Limited.

Seminar: Collaborate to Dispatch LNG at PV GAS Vung Tau Terminal
On August 24, 2023, KVT hosted a seminar on coordinating operational management of the Southeast Pipeline for the dispatch of LNG at PV GAS Vung Tau Terminal.
In his opening speech, Mr. Bui Tien Dung - Deputy Manager of KVT, emphasized that after successfully undergoing the Performance Run Test on July 31, 2023, Thi Vai LNG Terminal had been handed over to KVT for operational management and soon would be under a Reliability Run Test, from which it would go online as part of the Southeast Pipeline chain.

As assigned by PV GAS, KVT, with PV GAS South East Transmission Company (KDN) and Gas Dispatch Center would be in charge of the distribution of regas LNG and dry gas supply from Dinh Co Gas Processing Plant (GPP Dinh Co) through Nam Con Son 2 Pipeline, destined for Low Pressure Gas Distribution Company (KTA) through the low-pressure station at PV GAS Vung Tau Terminal.
The seminar focused on analyzing and evaluating the under-discussed value chain, as well as identifying challenges, existing issues, and potential risks. Following up, there were discussions and proposals for solutions with collaborative efforts among the units. The ultimate goal was to ensure the highest level of coordination, safety, and efficiency throughout the entire process.

Ending the session, Mr. Bui Tien Dung expressed hopes that PV GAS and relevant units would establish firm procedures between parties as soon as possible to guarantee safety in operations, ensure the smooth and efficient execution of LNG dispatch, and maintain the overall success, meeting the expected outcomes and most importantly, strengthening PV GAS’ position in Vietnam gas industry and on the global energy map.
