PV GAS units organize many social programs to celebrate Lunar New Year
Before the 2023 Lunar New Year, Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation has organized many meaningful social welfare programs, sharing with people facing financial difficulties, contributing to supporting people in the whole country to welcome a warmer and happier spring.
Supporting VND2 billion for the program of Warm Spring - Tet of Loves at BR-VT Province
To promptly support and encourage the poor people and orphans due to the Covid-19 pandemic to have more joy when Tet comes, with the spirit of "leaving no one behind", PV GAS has responded to the call of the Fatherland Front Committee at BR-VT Province to join its program of Warm Spring - Tet of Loves 2023.
At the ceremony, PV GAS attended and gave away meaningful Tet gifts to households who still faced many financial difficulties to support and encourage the spirit of people and children to repel grief from the pandemic and add a new spirit to celebrate the happy Spring.
PV GAS VT co-operates to give away Great Solidarity houses
Promoting the tradition of mutual affection and supporting to help people with financial difficulties welcome Tet, Petrovietnam Gas Vungtau Processing Company (PV GAS VT) has coordinated with the Fatherland Front Committee of Long Dien District, BR-VT Province to hold a program of giving away the Great Solidarity house and gifts on the occasion of the Lunar Year of the Cat to local poor households with extremely financial difficulties.
This is one of the social welfare programs which PV GAS VT has been assigned by PV GAS. Especially in 2022, PV GAS VT and Long Dien District Fatherland Front Committee sponsored 2 Great Solidarity houses worth VND 80 million each. In addition, Petrovietnam Gas Vungtau Processing Company also gave away 200 gifts worth totally VND100 million to households with financial difficulties, helping and encouraging people to welcome the Lunar Year of the Cat 2023.
Scholarship Award Ceremony for Lighting up Future 2022
Petrovietnam Gas Vungtau Processing Company co-operated with the Association for Promoting Education in BR-VT Province to organize a Scholarship Award Ceremony for Lighting up Future.
At the ceremony, the Organizer awarded 14 scholarships worth totally VND280 million to new students with financial difficulties to study well and have high test scores in the university exam in 2022; Students from poor families, whose caregivers died due to the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2021; those who have received scholarships in 2021 and were eligible to continue receiving them in 2022.
High school students’ visit to gas works in Ca Mau Province
The Trade Union of Petrovietnam Gas Ca Mau Company (PV GAS CAMAU) has organized a program of visiting its factory and gas works, and an exchange session to enthuse local high school students and to raise learning motivation for them.
This has been an annual program maintained by PV GAS CAMAU. The program included: Field trip to Petrovietnam Gas Ca Mau Company and Ca Mau Gas Distribution Center; Introducing working environment and collective activities; Sharing experiences, learning process, communication culture and behavior in the collective environment of its employees when they were students.
The program has had practical content and fun exchanges to help them better understand the labor market and have a career orientation for themselves in the future.
"Happy Spring Festival" program of PV GAS Services
On the occasion of the Lunar Year of the Cat- 2023, the Youth Union of Petrovietnam Gas Services Company (PV GAS Services) cooperated with the counterpart of the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial Police Department of Fire and Rescue to organize a “Happy Spring Festival " program for poor students at Vo Van Kiet Secondary School in Ward 5, Vung Tau City.
During the program, the delegation gave away 50 gifts to these students, including the Youth Union of Petrovietnam Gas Services Company donating VND15 million. On the occasion of this Tet, Trade Union and Youth Union of Petrovietnam Gas Services Company visited and gave away gifts to former prisoners of war with financial difficulties and serious illnesses in An Ngai and Hoa Long communes of BR-VT Province’s Long Dien District with 3 gifts (VND2 million each).
Trade Union and Youth Union of Petrovietnam Gas Services Company also visited and gave away gifts to 15 poor cases (people with visual impairments, sick ones, orphans, the elderly) in Long Dien, Dat Do, Phu My districts of BR –VT Province, with each gift worth VND500 thousand; visited and gave away 24 gifts to poor people in Rach Dua and Thang Nhi wards, which have still many poor ones in the Vung Tau city.
Giving away Tet gifts to poor people in Hai Phong, Thai Binh Province
PV Gas Hai Phong has organized a program of Giving away Tet gifts to poor households in communes where pipelines pass through in Thai Binh Province’s Tien Hai District. The delegation visited each household, encouraged and handed over Tet gifts to 12 families who were still facing many financial difficulties.
On this occasion, Dinh Vu PTSC Youth Union in collaboration with PV Gas Hai Phong’s counterpart also visited and gave away gifts to children with extremely financial difficulties at Hoa Phuong Orphanage Village. The delegation handed over 53 gifts in kind such as rice, milk, shiitake mushrooms, wood ear... and a cash gift worth VND25 million contributed by young people and employees of the two companies.
