PV GAS spreads values through CSR
Over the course of 35 years, alongside its business, Petrovietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) has cultivated beautiful humanistic values through meaningful corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities.
In 2024 alone, PV GAS allocated over 150 billion VND for CSR initiatives, prioritizing education and healthcare as key areas of support.
In the field of education, PV GAS notably contributed to the development of educational infrastructure for schools. The Corporation funded the construction of schools in mountainous areas with challenging terrain and transportation difficulties, such as: Duc Hanh Kindergarten in Bao Lam District, Cao Bang Province; Coc Pang Ethnic Boarding Secondary School in Coc Pang Commune, Bao Lac District, Cao Bang Province; and Yen Son Ethnic Boarding Primary and Secondary School in Yen Son Commune, Ha Quang District, Cao Bang Province.

PV GAS also sponsored scholarships for outstanding students at Hanoi University of Science and Technology and Vietnam Petroleum Institute; supported local scholarship funds; and donated equipment to improve teaching and learning quality at schools in Nhu Co Commune, Cho Moi District, Bac Kan Province; and Le Khac Can Primary & Secondary School in An Tho Commune, An Lao District, Hai Phong City. Through its investments in education, PV GAS has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the nation's educational development, motivating the movement for excellence in teaching and learning.
Notably, following the historic Typhoon Yagi in September 2024, which caused significant damage to the northern region, PV GAS, in response to the call of the Party, State, Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and Petrovietnam, provided emergency funding to Lao Cai Province. This supported the reconstruction of the Kho Vang residential area in Coc Lau Commune, Bac Ha District, ensuring stable, safe, and long-term living conditions for residents and reinforcing public trust in the Party and State.

In the healthcare sector, PV GAS provided practical support to many localities: building medical stations/centers in disadvantaged communes and districts; supplying medical equipment to enhance grassroots healthcare services; donating medical equipment to Con Dao Medical Center in Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province; supporting the "Bright Tomorrow" Cancer Patient Support Fund; collaborating with Ho Chi Minh City University Medical Center to organize health check-ups; and providing medicine and medical equipment to Song Doc General Clinic in Tran Van Thoi District, Ca Mau Province.

2024 also marked PV GAS' response to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's call for a movement to "Eliminate Temporary and Dilapidated Houses". The Corporation took the lead, actively participating in and completing the construction of over 400 houses for the needy across the country.
During the traditional Lunar New Year, PV GAS consistently provided support to the "Tet for Those in need" movement, delivering timely gifts to struggling households in various localities, especially in areas where gas projects are implemented.
