PV GAS President & CEO meets PV GAS CA MAU
Dr. Pham Van Phong, President and CEO of Petrovietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS), chaired a meeting with PV GAS Ca Mau Company (PV GAS CA MAU) to review its ten-month performance and plan through the end of 2024.

PV GAS CA MAU, as reported, had successfully fulfilled its tasks to conclude the first ten months of 2024. The volume of gas received at the shore reached 106%, while LPG and condensate outputs hit 115% and 130%, compared to the plan respectively.
Operations and maintenance (O&M) had been conducted regularly, significantly contributing to the reliability and continuous supply of gas across the system. Some O&M works had even been completed ahead of planned schedule: at the PM3 - Ca Mau system - eight hours; at the Ca Mau Gas Processing Plant - seven hours.

Security and safety throughout the entire PM3 - Ca Mau system had always been assured, with strong relationships maintained between PV GAS/PV GAS CA MAU, local authorities, and stakeholders in the Ca Mau Gas-Power-Fertilizer supply chain from upstream to downstream.
PV GAS President and CEO Pham Van Phong, along with the Corporation’s leaders, shared insights and suggestions, as well as promised to always support PV GAS CA MAU in overcoming challenges and completing its 2024 objectives and future tasks.

The Corporation’s leaders asked PV GAS CA MAU to control its system to remain its position as always ready to receive, produce, and supply gas and gas products at high levels, should customer demand increase. The aim is to meet all 2024 targets set.
PV GAS President and CEO also instructed PV GAS CA MAU to proactively seek new sources, supplementing or replacing current supplies in the medium and long terms. Emphasis was placed on optimizing resources, improving personnel policies, and coming up with cost-control solutions in line with the current context. Notably, Dr. Pham Van Phong directed PV GAS CA MAU to work with local authorities and PV GAS’ Youth Union to conduct a forestation plan in Ca Mau, supporting the Net Zero campaign and contributing to emissions reduction, sustainable development, as well as the future of communities and the environment.
