PV GAS Organizes Employee Conference 2023
On December 11, 2023, Petrovietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) organized the 2023 Employee Conference to review and evaluate its business performance, as well as roll out the plans for 2024.

Despite the global and domestic economic recession, with precise guidance from Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam), along with the unity and high determination of the leadership team and all employees, PV GAS has continuously strived to overcome challenges and achieved most of the assigned targets.

PV GAS' President & CEO, Dr. Pham Van Phong, shared the focus and key tasks that the Corporate aims for in 2024. PV GAS is oriented towards a more flexible shift in its business mode with enhanced chain-linked activities. The CEO called upon all employees to fully understand the Corporate's difficulties and challenges and thereby maximize their capabilities to help PV GAS achieve more success in 2024 and further ensure sustainable development.

PV GAS’ Labor Union Chairman, Mr. Tran Xuan Thanh, presented and reported on the implementation of the collective labor agreement, labor regulations, the Corporate's principles in 2023, and the Reward and Welfare Fund for 2023, as well as outlined the plans for 2024.
From November 20, 2023, to December 6, 2023, PV GAS successfully held grassroots-level Employee Conferences. Across these units’ conferences, a total of 64 proposals were made, comprising 10 suggestions regarding business operations, 48 related to policy regimes, and 6 concerning other issues. All the proposals and clarification requests from employees were adequately addressed.

In 2023, PV GAS estimated a workforce of 1,407 employees. The signing and termination of labor contracts were carried out in compliance with legal regulations. All employees were ensured regular employment suitable for their professional qualifications and capabilities with stable income, satisfactory benefits, and insurance. Moreover, the Corporate conducted 400 training courses with 12,200 participants (equivalent to 123% of the plan).
PV GAS continued to vigorously reinforce and propagate its corporate culture based on core values. Activities aimed at fostering team cohesion, team-building programs, corporate social responsibilities and propaganda campaigns were implemented across all PV GAS and its units.
Petrovietnam Labor Union presented commendation flags to two outstanding grassroots labor union groups
Vietnam Oil and Gas Labor Union awarded Commendation Flags and Certificates of Merit to PV GAS labor union teams for their outstanding achievements in promoting excellence in labor competitions and building a strong labor union organization in 2023. Furthermore, PV GAS commended and rewarded 16 individuals for their outstanding performance and contributions to the successful fulfillment of PV GAS' political and business tasks in 2023.

Mr. Le Manh Hung, Petrovietnam’s President & CEO, expressed congratulations on PV GAS' achievements in 2023, stating, "We are delighted with the impressive results achieved by our comrades. These are very positive outcomes and a significant contribution to the overall success of the Group."
Furthermore, the CEO shared insights into the challenges and difficulties that PV GAS would need to anticipate, and provided guidance on the future development direction of PV GAS.
