PV GAS marks its 11th consecutive year being in Forbes’ top 50 listed companies in Vietnam

On Monday (5 June 2023), Forbes Vietnam announced the Top 50 Listed Companies in 2023. PV GAS has been honored in high position among the list for 11 years in a row since the reputable American business magazine first made it recognition on best enterprises in the country. This achievement implies that PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) has always been maintaining its position as the leading enterprise in Vietnam’s gas industry.

PV GAS concluded 2022 with record revenue of VND 100,723 billion (28% higher y-o-y) and an all time high profit after tax of 14,798 billion (up 71%), ultimately leading the its gross margin profit in 2022 to surge to 21.16% compare to 17.71% of 2021.

In the year of 2022, PV GAS provided more than 7.9 bcm of dry gas as well as became dominant in the LPG market with 70% market share. Along with the target of keeping the said performance this year, the firm has been putting non-stop efforts to supply gas for electricity generation and fertilizer production, respectively accounting for around 11% and 70% in terms of the outputs. PV GAS thrive to be the first and only enterprise that supplies LNG in Vietnam from 2023 onwards.

In line with that, PV GAS continued to be on top positions of Forbes’ Top 50 in 3 other categories regarding public-listed companies with the best revenues, profits and capitalizations. It was also one out of 9 outstanding enterprises to receive the impressive honor of Forbes Vietnam for 11 consecutive years. All of the mentioned noticeable awards are not only to stress on PV GAS’s impressive stature of its sustainable development as the leading gas firm in Vietnam but also to honor the efforts of its leaders and staffs in joint dedication and with continuous innovations to jointly overcome the challenges and difficulties, making numerous outstanding achievements all for the sake of fueling values to the country and the people’s lives.
