PV GAS makes Appearance in Top 100 Best Enterprise in Fortune - The Southeast Asia 500
On June 18, 2024, Fortune magazine, for the first time, released the ranking of Southeast Asia Top 500 largest companies in 2024 - the Southeast Asia 500, based on their 2023 annual income. Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) has had the honor of being among 70 Vietnam enterprises that have a place in the list.
In the Top 100 of this list, three companies from the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam) are recognized: Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company – BSR ranks 52nd with a revenue of $6.2 billion, Petrovietnam Oil Corporation – PVOIL ranks 88th with a revenue of $4.3 billion, and PV GAS ranks 98th with a revenue of $3.8 billion.
Also, the Southeast Asia 500 also recognized the appearance of other Petrovietnam units, namely PV Power, PTSC, PETROSETCO, PVFCCo and PVCFC.

The reputed Fortune magazine had announced the rankings in Southeast Asia for the first time with the intention of reflecting the impressive development in the area, which is proved through the immense growth of major businesses. The list comprises of 500 top enterprises spreading among 57 separate fields from Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, etc.
In the current rankings, Indonesia promptly leads with 110 companies, followed closely by Thailand with 107. Malaysia, with 89 companies, surpasses Singapore, which has 84. Vietnam proudly features with 70 companies, while the Philippines and Cambodia contribute 38 and 2 companies, respectively.

Companies making the inaugural Southeast Asia 500 list will join the ranks of top corporations recognized through various Fortune lists, including the original Fortune 500, Fortune Global 500, Fortune Europe 500, and Fortune China 500. Starting from June 18, the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 list and the stories of the companies featured will be widely covered in media across Asia and globally, celebrating the leading brands driving Southeast Asia's rapid growth and development.
