PV GAS LPG launches LPG filling station in Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province
Petrovietnam LPG Joint Stock Company’s the southern arm on July 8 organized a launching ceremony of Ba Ria-Vung Tau LPG filling station at Block B in An Ngai Industrial Cluster, An Ngai Commune of Long Dien District, the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province.
The BR - VT LPG filling station with the capacity of 1,000 tons/month
covers a total area of 7,528m2, including the 180-square metres operation house; the 515-square metre one for extraction and filling; infrastructure includes two LPG tanks with 50 tons each, technology system, fire protection system and other ancillary ones.
According to the decision on investment policy made by the provincial People’s Committee, PV GAS LPG’s southern arm had built the LPG filling station in Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province. After the active and urgent construction period, BR-VT LPG Filling Station has officially been put into operation since July 2022 with the main activity of extracting and distributing liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) products with the brand of PETROVIETNAM GAS.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Chairman of Vietnam Gas Association, Standing Party Committee - Deputy CEO of PV GAS, Secretary of Party Committee - Chairman of the Board of Directors at PV GAS LPG affirmed: “The launching ceremony of Ba Ria- Vung Tau LPG filling station shows its determination and effective efforts to develop the comprehensive infrastructure which serves PV GAS/PV GAS LPG’s the retail strategy. This is also the work for PV GAS LPG's goal aiming to develop into the unit holding the largest market share in LPG retail business in Vietnam, with a professional distribution system in the 2021-2025 period, achieving the highest retail sale target of more than 206,000 tons which account for at least 21.2% of the national retail market share by 2025.
After putting into operation, the Ba Ria - Vung Tau LPG Filling Station project will bring products that meet quality standards to customers; creating jobs and raising income for the local workers; contributing the state’s budget; bringing LPG products with the brand of PETROVIETNAM GAS closer to people and contributing to stabilizing LPG product prices in the southern region.
