PV GAS joins hands to fight against Covid-19 pandemic at BR-VT
Under Directive 13 / CT-TTg dated 11/3/2020 of the Prime Minister on continuing to step ups efforts to prevent Covid-19 in new circumstance, and in response to the movement of nationally fighting with the Covid-19 pandemic, launched by the Vietnamese Fatherland Front, on behalf of PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS), Vung Tau Gas Processing Company (KVT) raised a fund for the local epidemic prevention program.
The COVID-19 disease has become extremely complicated with unpredictable developments day by day, requiring the consensus, collective support of all Vietnamese people. At BR-VT, PV GAS has many important facilities and always receiving exceptional attentions from Province’s sectors and locals to assure the continuity of gas production. Therefore, the BR-VT epidemic prevention program has been positively responded to by PV GAS, considered as one of the most urgent mission.
KVT’s delegation gave the PV GAS’s support fund to the Preventive Medical Center of BR-VT Province and the Medical Center of Long Dien District on 03/04/2020. The total amount of this fund is 300.000.000 VND, from the contribution of all PV GAS’s Board of Directors and employees.
Participating in this event, on the side of the Preventive Medical Center of BR-VT Province, there were Mr. Ha Van Thanh – Director; the Medical Center of Long Dien, Mr. Duong Van Muon – Director; with Other representatives of the two centers. On the side of KVT, there were Mr. Ho Dien Vuong – Deputy Director; Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Lien – Union President; Mr. Nguyen Van Quy – Dinh Co Gas Processing Plant Deputy Manager; Dr. Ngo Quoc Phuong – Health Manager of Safety and Environment Division; Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Hang, - Representative of Safety and Environment Division of Petrovietnam Gas South East Transmission Company.
KVT, on behalf of PV GAS, donated 200.000.000 VND to the Preventive Medical Center of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province and 100.000.000 VND to Long Dien District Medical Center.
At the event, the leaders of the two health centers expressed their sincere thanks to all PV GAS’s Board of Directors and employees. This practical helpful support has brought some great motivations, to encourage all doctors and medical employees during this tough period. Leaders of two Health Center have committed to utilize this support fund with reasonable purposes as well as to coordinate with departments and agencies of BR-VT province, accompanying with PV GAS in the Epidemic Prevention Program, make sure that all the production activities conduct continuously and safely.
