PV GAS acted in response to the Workers’ Month of 2019
PV GAS has organized many practical activities to respond to Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) of 2019.
According to the report from the Department of Occupational Safety, in 2017 there were more than 9,000 occupational accidents nationwide, causing approximately 1,000 deaths. In 2018, 8,000 accidents occurred, causing more than 1,000 deaths. In fact, statistical report about occupational accidents and occupational diseases showed that the working conditions in enterprises still have many risks of OSH. The main reason is the lack of knowledge and skill in assessing and identifying risks among workers and even employers. Therefore, the OSH Action Month of 2019 is subjected to the theme "Strengthening assessment and management of OSH risks at workplace", held from 01 – 31 May 2019 nationwide.
Over the years, leaders of PV GAS have shown their commitment and high determination in improving working conditions; focus on self-inspection, review of internal OSH procedures, skills to evaluate dangerous and harmful factors and OSH risks at workplace; raising awareness for workers on gas projects ... Consequently, labor safety and health as well as fire prevention and fighting are ensured, gas projects are continuously and effectively operated.
PV GAS strives to guarantee safety for workers and workplace, prevent serious occupational accidents; act to control the risk factors and dangers; maintaining PV GAS’ Safety - Quality - Environment policies in all production and business activities.
KVT marches to respond to OSH Action Month
Upon the request of the Central Steering Committee on OSH and according to PV GAS' assignment, Vung Tau Gas Processing Company (KVT) organized a ceremony to launch and parade in response to the OSH Action Month of 2019 in order to create a strong spread in all employees. Top managers and more than 200 employees of PV GAS in Vung Tau area attended this launching ceremony.
After the ceremony, KVT managers launched action programs to identify risks, update and supplement guidelines for OSH at workplace; training, rehearsing; implementing OSH inspection, organizing sports festivals; continue to improve working conditions and health care for workers.
PV GAS South organized Roadshow to promote the PETROVIETNAM GAS brand.

In order to bring the Pink Gas cylinder image closer to the people in Ba Ria-Vung Tau region, PV GAS South - Eastern Branch recently organized the Roadshow to promote the new brand. The Pink Shirt team was present on the beautiful roads in Ba Ria City with the aim to help people here identify PETROVIETNAM GAS brand.
In addition, in the coastal city of Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa, PV GAS South – Northern Central Branch also organized the Roadshow program to promote the brand of PETROVIETNAM GAS to the local citizens.
The Pink Shirt team brought to every corner of Nha Trang the image of a prestigious, safe and quality gas brand that many homemakers trusted during the past time.
Roadshow events was held to propagate PV GAS South's success not only through the quality of after-sales products and services, but also the serious investment in a modern and integrated production system that meets international standards.
PV GAS D organizes a wide range of social activities
The Youth Union of PetroVietnam Low Pressure Gas Distribution Joint Stock Company (PV GAS D) has cooperated with the Labour Union to successfully organize the program called "Caring Circle" to give gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and award scholarships to disadvantaged children in Tien Hai district, Thai Binh province. The Youth Union collaborated with PV GAS D Labour Union and Tien Hai Youth Union in awarding scholarships to 40 disadvantaged students at Dong Co Primary and Secondary School; implementing "Childhood Festival" by holding games for children, bringing them a warmhearted and loving atmosphere.
PV GAS D arranged heath check-up in Tien Hai, Thai Binh.
The delegation also visited and gave 21 gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Tien Hai district, Thai Binh province; as well as cooperating with Tien Hai District General Hospital in arranging health check-up and giving free medicine to 100 people in extreme difficulties in Dong Minh commune. This is one among a series of activities for the sake of the society and community which PV GAS D has always been focused in during the past years.
