“PV GAS FRAGRANCE 2025” – PV GAS celebrates March 8th
On March 5, PV GAS organized an artistic flower arrangement competition "PV GAS Fragrance 2025" to celebrate the International Women's Day (March 8) at its headquarter in Ho Chi Minh City.
PV GAS celebrates International Women’s Day
In her opening speech, Ms. Tran Thi Hoang Anh – Vice Chairwoman of PV GAS Labor Union – emphasized that the competition was a creative playground, honoring the beauty, skills, and solidarity of the entire PV GAS. The event aimed at welcoming and celebrating the Party Congress at all levels, the 115th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8), the 35th anniversary of PV GAS' establishment, the Trung Sisters' Uprising, and International Day of Happiness.
The competition kicked off with three intense and unique rounds. The first round, lasting only 10 minutes, required teams to select from 16 types of flowers and 5 types of leaves provided at the "Flower Market" prepared by the Organizing Committee. Teams had to accurately choose the necessary flowers and leaves to complete their artwork while staying within a budget and minimizing waste.
In the most crucial round, each team of five members had 60 minutes to complete their artworks. The presence of male colleagues alongside their female counterparts added an interesting touch to the competition. Many Chairpersons and Vice Chairpersons of grassroots labor unions, as well as leaders of various units, actively participated or enthusiastically cheered, promoting equality and love within PV GAS.
During the Presentation round, all 16 teams showcased their skillful flower arrangements and moved the judges with emotional stories and real-life connections from their work experiences. The competition truly surprised everyone as all 16 artworks were unique, vibrant, and filled with PV GAS colors. The judging panel, consisting of professional flower arrangement experts and PV GAS leaders, worked diligently to select the most outstanding works. The evaluation criteria focused not only on technique but also on the humanistic meaning and creativity of each team.

The first prize went to PV GAS SE, whose artwork featured a floral flame at its center, symbolizing the unending passion of the oil and gas industry. The second prize was awarded to PV GAS PMC, while the third prize went to PV GAS CA MAU.
