PV GAS D successfully organizes the 2023 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders
In compliance with the provisions of the Enterprise Law and the Charter of Petrovietnam Low Pressure Gas Distribution Joint Stock Company (PV GAS D), PV GAS D, stock code: PGD, held the 2023 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) in Ho Chi Minh City.
Reporting to the shareholders at the General Meeting, PV GAS D's leader said: Amidst many difficulties and fluctuations, PV GAS D has carried out many synchronous solutions on operation, security - safety, governance, market, investment... and closely follow the Business Development Strategy by 2025, with an orientation toward 2035 to respond and minimize negative impacts on the Company's operations. With unremitting efforts and tries, PV GAS D's leadership team and employees have successfully deployed the instruction and administration to fulfill the tasks and targets assigned by the General Meeting of Shareholders, specifically: Total revenue exceeded VND10 trillion for the first time, recording at VND11.274 trillion, reaching 121.1 percent; Profit before tax was VND519.7 billion, reaching 202.7%; Profit after tax was VND412.7 billion, reaching 201.2%; the contribution to the state budget was VND192.4 billion, reaching 198.3%; The After-Tax Profit Margin /Charter capital reached 45.8%.
Entering 2023, the Board of Directors at PV GAS D orients its efforts with its leaders and all employees to continue promoting the achievements, making use of available advantages to overcome difficulties and challenges in the upcoming time and to set a plan for 2023 with the following targets: Total gas consumption: 1,070.6 million Sm3, VND9.606 trillion in Revenue; VND267.0 billion in Profit before tax; VND213.6 billion in Profit after tax; and VND91.8 billion in the contribution to the State budget.
For personnel affairs, the General Meeting of Shareholders approved the following contents: dismissing Mr. Tran Trung Chinh from his position as a member of the Board of Directors at PV GAS D to retire according to the regime; then, the General Meeting elected Mr. Le Minh Hai - Deputy Director of PV GAS D as a member of the Company’s Board of Directors in the 2023 – 2028 tenure. After the General Meeting of Shareholders’ Resolutions and Minutes were approved; the Board of Directors conducted another meeting to vote Mr. Le Minh Hai as Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors in the 2023 -2028 tenure and report to the General Meeting.
