PV Gas Council of science and technology approving initiatives on production rationalization in 2012

On May 4, 2013, the Council of Science and Technology (CST) of PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) organized a meeting to get approval for initiatives on production rationalization for PV GAS in 2012.

Attending the meeting were Mr. Tran Hung Hien - Chairman of PV Gas’s CST, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung - Deputy Chairman of the Trade Union and standing member of the Council, as well as other members of the Council. Mr. Tran Van Tam – Chairman of PV Gas Trade Union had also attended and witnessed over the meeting. The meeting was live broadcasted from Vung Tau, Ca Mau and HCMC with the participation and speeches delivered to protect the initiatives of PV Gas employees and representatives from relating units.                                   
It is known that, there were 107 applications registered for initiatives in 2012 from Trade Union of PV GAS. On this basis, PV Gas Trade Union had reviewed and recognized 81 initiatives at PV Gas Union’s level as well as recommended to the Council to reward 10 outstanding initiatives at the PV Gas’s level. At the meeting, the Council had listened to opinions from the authors and critical opinions from Council members. After discussion and agreement, the Council recommended to PV Gas to recognize and appraise 3 initiatives at outstanding level, 5 at level 1, and 2 at level 2. There were 8 initiatives that would be recommended as initiatives at the level of Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PVN) and 4 would be recommended for widely applying in the Group.
