PV Gas "Congratulates the party, celebrates the year of snake 2013"
To welcome the traditional Tet, PetroVietnam Gas Corporation (PV Gas) continued to maintain its gas supply task sustainably, contributing to ensure energy security for the country, promoting emulation movements to complete plan in 2013. In addition, PV Gas also organized activities to congratulate the Party, celebrate the New Year.
In all localities where the gas works are located, PV Gas organized delegations to pay Tet visits and sent Tet greetings to leaders, departments, agencies, authorities and the units of public security, border guard, military as well as underprivileged families.
In the evening of 29 Tet (February 02, 2013), a PV Gas delegation led by President and CEO Do Khang Ninh paid a Tet visit and offered Tet greetings at PV Gas Vung Tau Port. Joining the delegation were Mr. Tran Van Tam, Chairman of Trade Union; Mr. Duong Manh Son, Vice President; representatives of the PV Gas Party, PV Gas Trade Union leaders, functional departments and specialized units. The units on duty during Tet holiday including PV Gas Vung Tau (KVT), PV Gas Trading (KDK), PV Gas Services (DVK) reported the status of completing the LPG refrigerated storage terminal project at PV Gas Vung Tau port, showing the determination of the entire unit working during Tet holiday.
On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Do Khang Ninh praised the spirit of solidarity, striving to overcome difficulties to complete the project, congratulated and presented gifts to the staff on duty on the occasion of the coming New Year’s Eve. 
In the evening of Feb 01, 2013, at the PV Gas branch office - 101/Le Loi, Vung Tau, PV Gas held an evening party to congratulate the Party, celebrate Tet and Tet meeting. Attending the meeting were the representatives of Ba Ria-Vung Tau People's Committee; representatives of the leadership from Ba Ria – Vung Tau departments, agencies, authorities, Military executive committee, Border guard executive committee and Public Security. For PV Gas, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Do Khang Ninh, Party Committee Secretary, President and CEO; Mr. Tran Van Tam, Chairman of PV Gas Trade Union; leaders from the Board of Directors and the Board of Management; representatives of the leadership from affiliate and member units; former senior officials over periods and nearly 1,000 employees of PV Gas.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Do Khang Ninh gave a speech to welcome guests and entire personnel of PV Gas on the occasion of New Year of Snake, congratulating common encouraging achievements of PV Gas: accompanied with parent company and member units of Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group to reach targets “ahead of schedule”; significantly improving material and spiritual lives of the employees; effectively participating in many social security programs; brand and image of PV Gas increasingly asserted inside and outside Vietnam.
On behalf of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors, the Board of Management of PV Gas, Mr. Do Khang Ninh praised heartily as well as sent sincere thanks to the leadership of units, the entire personnel of PV Gas who paid efforts in production and study, overcoming difficulties, creating dynamic emulation movements, contributing to the victory of the year 2012. Mr. Do Khang Ninh also sent honorable thanks and wished a Happy New Year to all localities, partners, colleagues who heartedly supported, helped and contributed to actual achievements of PV Gas.
Along with a lot of cheerful Spring performances, the party meeting took place in the air of excitement, strengthening solidarity in the great family of PV Gas. On Feb 18, 2013, after Tet holiday, PV Gas started the first working day of the New Year with the spirit of high determination. PV Gas was honored to welcome the delegation from PVN to visit, wished a happy new year and worked on this first day. Leading the PVN delegation were Mr. Do Van Hau, President and CEO; Mr. Le Minh Hong, Nguyen Xuan Son, Vice President; Mr. Ho Cong Ky, Chief of Office as well as heads and deputy heads of the functional units from PVN and representatives of many fellow units.
Welcoming the delegation, for PV Gas, were Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan, Chairwoman of the BOD; Vu Dinh Chien, Vice Chairman of the BOD; Mr. Do Khang Ninh, President and CEO; Mr. Tran Van Tam, Chairman of the Trade Union; members in the BOD, Board of Management, representatives from leaders of departments, affiliate and member companies, and more than 500 employees of PV Gas working in PV Gas building.. 
Addressing at New Year celebration, Mr. Do Khang Ninh, President and CEO of PV Gas welcomed everyone present in the meeting and affirmed that thanks to the attention and close guidance of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, positive supports of local authorities, cooperative units; and firm, active leadership of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors and the Board of Management of the Corporation, PV Gas has achieved accomplishments in recent years. PV Gas personnel, with a high sense of responsibility, not afraid of difficulties, strengthening solidarity and efforts, have made valuable contributions to overall achievements. President and CEO of PV Gas called for the entire personnel to strengthen solidarity, promote creative working spirit, exploit potentials, continue to speed up emulation movements and fulfill PV Gas’s tasks excellently in 2013. 
Mr. Do Van Hau, President and CEO of PVN gave a speech, affirming the role of PV Gas in the development strategy for the entire industry and promising to create favorable conditions for PV Gas together with units within PVN family for sustainable development. 
Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan, Chairwoman of the BOD and Mr. Do Khang Ninh, PV Gas President and CEO presented beautiful flowers to Mr. Do Van Hau and the delegation along with the promise of the determination from the leadership and PV Gas personnel when entering the new path.
The meeting became an exchange opportunity within cordial and unanimous air on the first working day.
