PV GAS celebrates Labor Month and Petrovietnam’s 50th anniversary
As early as March 2025, the Labor Union of Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) has initiated numerous meaningful activities with widespread impact in response to the 2025 Labor Month.

Implementing Environmental Protection and Safety-Security Programs from Early in the Year
From March to the end of May 2024, PV GAS will focus on organizing various activities and specific programs, including:
• The Launching Ceremony of Labor Month - Action Month on Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (OSHE);
• The program "Creative Employees, Stepping Confidently into a New Era";
• The "May Dialogue" program and the Forum "The Party with Workers - Workers with the Party";
• The "Thank You Workers" program and "Union Meals";
• The 2025 Mass Art Performance Festival;
• The 2025 Photo Contest "The Beauty of PV GAS Workers";
• A Peak Month for Union Member Development, Consolidation/Establishment of Union Organizations, and Introduction of New Party Members;
• The "Oil and Gas Comradeship" program;
• Activities and events focused on OSHE, aligned with the themes and content of the Action Month;
• Honoring and rewarding outstanding role models.

The Beauty of Dedicated Labor Will Be the Main Theme of the 2025 PV GAS Photo Contest
The activities are also tied to the celebration of major national anniversaries:
• 50 years of National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025);
• 139 years of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2025);
• 135 years since the birth of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025);
• Celebrating Party Congresses at all levels leading up to the 14th National Party Congress;
• 50th anniversary of Petrovietnam (September 3, 1975 - September 3, 2025) and 35th anniversary of PV GAS (September 20, 1990 - September 20, 2025).
PV GAS Labor Union has requested its units’ unions to proactively organize activities that align with their working and production conditions. These should attract the participation of various agencies, organizations, union members, and employees.
