PV GAS and Vietcombank sign a credit contract for the second phase of adjusted Nam Con Son 2 gas pipeline project

Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) on January 19 in 2021 signed a credit contract worth VND1.5 trillion with Vietcombank to finance “the Second Phase of adjusted Nam Con Son 2 gas pipeline project”. In the contract, Vietcombank’s Ky Dong branch will provide a credit of VND1 trillion.  

The signing event was an important milestone in the strategic cooperation between PV GAS and Vietcombank; helping consolidate Vietcombank's position as a strategic banking partner in PV GAS 'operations.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Pham Quang Dung - Vietcombank General Director- emphasized that providing credit for the Second Phase 2 of the adjusted Nam Con Son 2 gas pipeline construction investment project was in line with the bank’s development orientation in the energy sector.

This event can be considered as an important milestone, recording the results of the two parties' parallel journey in the past years, and opening a new phase in the closest and most comprehensive cooperation to well take advantage of potential of each party, bringing common and overall benefits to both Vietcombank and PV GAS.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Duong Manh Son – PV GAS General Director- affirmed: Nam Con Son 2 was one of PV GAS’ series of large and significantly important strategic projects. The cooperation between PV GAS and Vietcombank to finance this project was very important in the development of strategic partnership between the two parties in the future to further promote their needs and capabilities on the basis of good quality at competitive fees.
