PV GAS’ activities in month of fire prevention and HSE
Vietnam National Fire Prevention Day falls on October. PV GAS’ units organized many activities in response to nurture their HSE culture at the workplace.
PV GAS NCSP conducts firefighter drill 2024
On October 25, 2024, PV GAS Nam Con Son Pipeline Company (NCSP), in coordination with the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department (PC07) of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, Long Dien District Police, and other units, organized a firefighter drill at the Nam Con Son Gas Processing Plant in An Ngai Commune, Long Dien District.

The drill simulated an incident at the Nam Con Son Gas Processing Plant where an oil spill occurred due to a leak in the heating oil tank filters, causing injuries and a fire in the affected area. The facility’s on-site firefighter team promptly allocated personnel and equipment, and with the help of the automatic fire suppression system carried out initial firefighting measures and urgently contacting provincial firefighting and rescue forces for additional support.
All participating teams coordinated seamlessly, ensuring the safety of the facility, contributing to the success of the drill.
PV GAS CA MAU completes O&M in 2024: Safety, Quality, and Timeliness
In its 17th year of conducting operations and maintenance (O&M) on the PM3-Ca Mau pipeline system and the 7th year on the Ca Mau Gas Processing Plant (GPP), PV GAS CA MAU exceeded its schedule goals: on the PM3-Ca Mau system – O&M completed 8 hours ahead of schedule, and on GPP Ca Mau – O&M finished 7 hours sooner than planned.
PV GAS CA MAU’ O&M 2024: Safety, Quality, and Timeliness
In the face of challenging rainy season impacting their project timelines, PV GAS CA MAU, in cooperation with PV GAS SERVICES, still landed successful completion of all its 29 O&M tasks (including 3 regular and 26 unscheduled). Additionally, 104 coordinated tasks were accomplished, consisting of 1 regular, 6 unscheduled, 3 for calibration, and 94 preventive.
With thorough preparation, and effective security and safety management, PV GAS CA MAU successfully completed its O&M programs this year, achieving the set goals of "Safety - Quality - Timeliness".
PV GAS CNG organizes 2024 HSE Conference
On October 12, CNG VIET NAM JSC (PV GAS CNG) hosted its 2024 Health – Safety – Environment (HSE) conference, featuring reports on the company’s important achievements in HSE and set future goals.
At the conference, delegates actively discussed the nine-month HSE report and strategies to complete 2024 goals. One of PV GAS CNG’s notable accomplishments was the implementation of LNG business strategies from South to North Vietnam. Furthermore, the action plan for 2025 was outlined, towards safety improvement in line with the company's operational effectiveness.

Concluding the conference, Mr. Nguyen Huu Xuan, Deputy Manager of PV GAS CNG, emphasized that safety was the foundation for maintaining and developing PV GAS’ integrated energy solution chain (CNG/LNG/LPG). Technical and safety staff must never stop learning and developing their skills as part to fulfill their responsibilities.
