Nam Con Son Pipelines Company (NCSP) awarded 10 Great Solidarity houses
The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, and representatives of business cooperation partners in Nam Con Son Gas Pipelines (NCSP) consisting of Mr. Manapov Timur, Chief of Mining Technology Department of TNK Vietnam B.V, Mr. Hoang Minh Duc - Deputy Director of Nam Con Son Pipelines Company, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Lien - Member of Executive Board of PV Gas Trade Union, Ms. Nguyen Thi My Khanh - Administrative staff and Public Relations of ConocoPhillips (UK) Cuulong Ltd. (an affiliate of Perenco) and Ms. Nguyen Thi Duong Chi - External Advisor of Nam Con Son Pipelines Company.
After handing over the decision of donating Great Solidarity houses for the poor households in Ward Kim Dinh, Huong Long Commune and Ward Phuoc Trung, Ba Ria city, the parties visited every family to witness the moment of fixing confirmation sign plates at Great Solidarity Houses. Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Manapov Timur expressed NCSP partners' special care for living conditions of people living along Nam Con Son and Bach Ho gas pipeline, helping them to overcome difficulties in life.
On the same day, the delegation also visited Long Dien district to hand over remaining Great Solidarity houses to the local residents at An Ngai and Phuoc Hung communes, Long Hai town, Long Dien district. They were deeply moved in tears and speechless when receiving the handover decision, they could only say some simple thanks. The heartiness of the NCSP for local residents had left a good and deep impression as well as sentiment in the heart of the local authorities and people.
On this occasion, representatives of the Executive Committee, PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation and its partners expressed their sincere thanks to the local authorities and people of the places where the gas pipeline passed through for their positive contribution in ensuring the protection and security - safety for oil and gas works throughout the years. In the past 12 years from 2001 to 2012, NCSP funded VND 3,160,000,000 to build 297 Great Solidarity Houses for people living in 12 communes of two districts Tan Thanh, Long Dien and Ba Ria city, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.
In the noon sun, sweat drops on foreheads, but eyes twinkling with joy and tears of touched feeling from the people would be forever left in the heart of NCSP members and become a motivation to the oil and gas industry workers to keep sticking to social welfare activities.
