PV GAS Operational Divisions launch a book donation program- spreading reading culture
To contribute to honoring the value of reading books at Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS), the Grassroots Trade Union and Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union at PV GAS Operational Divisions have launched a program to donate books to build PV GAS Bookcase, spreading the reading culture with the theme of "Donating a small book - Reading thousands of good books".
The grassroots Trade Union and Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union at PV GAS Operational Divisions have called on their members and employees to actively join the program. Each employee will donate their available books to build a bookcase at the divisions. The Organizers have encourages their members and employees to donate books saying about living skills, applied science, literature and art; inspirational books, physical education, culture, soul, music…. These books must be copyrighted by reputable domestic and international publishers.
Besides calling on their employees to donate good books, through this program, the Organizers also want to develop a reading space, expand the circle of knowledge, develop thinking and creativity, and nurture personality and soul. This program also builds habits and develops "soft" skills for all employees at the PV GAS Operational Divisions. And then, each employee will build and foster reading habits, skills to access, search and use information and knowledge from good books at their workplace and the place where they live.
To spread the program, the grassroots Trade Union and Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union are actively calling on each employee of the PV GAS Operational Divisions to donate at least one book. Through internal emails of the divisions, its fanpage, as well as the introduction on the members’ personal pages, in the online community, etc., the Organizers hopes to create a "wave" of sharing and introducing good books and famous publications over time, promotes reading habits, and spreads reading culture to colleagues, friends, relatives...
The "Donating a small book - Reading thousands of good books" program is one of the practical and meaningful activities to carry out the process of PETROVIETNAM corporate culture regeneration at PV GAS. The wish of the grassroots Trade Union and Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union at PV GAS Operational Divisions about the PV GAS Bookcase will definitely make an important contribution to building good habits and valuable cultural values of the Oil and Gas employees in each member of the Operational Divisions and the whole family of PV GAS.
