The Second Conference of the Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation’s Party Executive Committee- (Expanded Conference)
The 10th Party Congress of Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) within the 2020-2025 period was successfully organised on May 14-15; the Congress elected the PV GAS’s Party Executive Committee in this period, including 25 comrades. The first conference of PV GAS’s Party Executive Committee elected the Party Standing Committee including eight comrades, the Party’s Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Supervisory Committee, and head of the Supervisory Committee within the 2020-2025 period. The election’s results of the Congress were approved by the Party of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam) under the Decision No.1338-QĐ/ĐU issued on June 10.
To carry out the right functions and tasks in Party’s regulations and the higher- level Party’s instructions, PV GAS’s Party Executive Committee organised the second conference (Expanded Conference) to discuss its Working Regulations and a Mission Programme of 2020 and the 2020-2025 period; to assign tasks for each member of the Executive Committee, and the Party Standing Committee; and to agree an Action Programme to carry out the Resolution of the 10th Party Congress of PV GAS within the 2020-2025 period. The Conference checked and assessed the results of the tasks in this year’s first six months; and defined and agreed the tasks of PV GAS’s Party in the remaining months.
After three hours of discussing in a prompt and serious manner, the Conference finished all the set programmes and contents.
Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Pham Xuan Canh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group’s Party appreciated that the approval of contents at the Conference was the tool for PV GAS’s Party Executive Committee to complete the tasks in the 2020-2025 period; and suggested comrades of the Executive Committee to continue renovating the leadership method to complete the tasks excellently.
Ending the Conference, Comrade Duong Manh Son, the Commissioner of the Party Standing Committee at the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, Party’s Secretary and General Director of PV GAS emphasized that the approval of the Working Regulation, the Mission Programme of 2020, and the Action Programme to carry out the Resolution of the 10th Party Congress of PV GAS was the set of conditions and the legal framework for the Party Standing Committee and the Executive Committee, and the organisations of PV GAS to successfully carry out the tasks, the targets, and the five-year plan which the Resolution of the 10th Party Congress of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group set out.
