PV GAS funds Construction of new facility at Quy Nhon National School, Binh Dinh
On February 14, 2025, at Quy Nhon National School in Binh Dinh Province, Petrovietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) collaborated with the Department of Education and Training (DOET) of Binh Dinh Province and Quy Nhon National School to hold the inauguration ceremony of a newly constructed lecture hall and multi-purpose room, fully funded by the Coporation.
PV GAS presents sponsorship certification to DOET and Quy Nhon National School
Quy Nhon National School was established in 1921. Over its more than 100-year history, the school has educated and nurtured many generations of students, providing high-quality human resources to meet the development needs of the homeland and the country during the period of industrialization, modernization, and international integration.
At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hung, Deputy Director of the DOET, reported on the implementation and completion of the project. The new facility includes a two-story building with a lecture hall (first floor) and a multi-purpose room combined with a standard library (second floor). The total construction area is 260 m², with a floor area of 455 m². The facility is fully equipped with furniture, bookshelves, a podium, and modern amenities such as air conditioning, computers, televisions, sound systems, and internet access. The total construction cost of 5 billion VND was fully sponsored by PV GAS. Construction began on September 12, 2024, and was completed for use on February 14, 2025.
Welcoming the new facility
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Cong Luan, Vice President of PV GAS, emphasized that the sponsorship of the new facility for Quy Nhon National School, a school rich in academic tradition, once again demonstrated the Corporation’s spirit of solidarity and effective support for localities facing difficulties in education.
The Multi-Purpose Room and National Standard Library
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa, the school’s principal, expressed her emotions and gratitude to the sponsor for their care and support in providing the school with a new, well-equipped facility. She emphasized that the new facility would not only enhance teaching and learning conditions but also create a favorable environment for teachers and students to organize extracurricular activities, cultural and artistic events, and sports, meeting the needs of comprehensive education. Additionally, it served as motivation for students to continue striving, training, and achieving high academic results, becoming valuable citizens for society.
