Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan – Politburo member, Vice Chairwoman of National Assembly visits PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation

In the morning of Friday 06/12/2013, during the business trip to Southern provinces, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan – Politburo member, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly visited and worked with PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS). Attending the meeting with Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan were leaders from PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation: Mr. Le Nhu Linh - Chairman of Board of Directors, Mr. Do Khang Ninh - Secretary of Party Committee, President & CEO, Mr. Vu Dinh Chien – Vice Chairman of Board of Directors, members of Board of Directors, Management Board, leaders of Divisions, subsidiaries and members of PV GAS.

At the reception, Mr. Do Khang Ninh introduced PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation, one of the members – the flagship of Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group, the key member in the development of gas industry in Vietnam. By this time, PV Gas has basically completed and exceeded most targets of its 2013 business plan; PV GAS leaders and personnel have always shown highest spirit of devotion and effort to the national industrialization – modernization; engaged in building and defence of the country; actively carried out social security programs. Mr. Le Nhu Linh and Mr. Do Khang Ninh also presented some proposals of PV Gas on keeping improvement of the equitization process, developing projects on producing and importing gas for the industrial and civil purposes of the country.                                      
Addressing the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan insisted on contributions of PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation in specific and Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group in general to the national development, which has been recognized and highly appreciated by the Politburo and National Assembly for years. She also affirmed that the National Assembly would seriously study and reach agreement on the most effective orientation to facilitate PV GAS and PetroVietnam in fulfilling their duties, overcoming challenges, maintaining and strengthening their tasks to meet the gas requirements nationwide.                                    
At the meeting, PV GAS leadership presented the vice chairwoman fresh flowers blossomed with significance of the first meeting with a Politburo member at PV GAS head office, wishing for more opportunities to welcome direct instructions from state leaders. Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan also congratulated Mr. Le Nhu Linh on his first day in the new position at PV GAS and wished PV GAS every success in the coming year 2014.
