Cambodian Inspection Delegation Studies Practical Experiences at PV GAS.
With the approval of the Prime Minister, Vietnam’s Government Inspectorate welcomed a high-level delegation from the Cambodian State Inspectorate, led by H.E Mr. Hout Hak, Minister of the Cambodian Ministry of Inspection. On June 14, 2024, the Delegation visited Petrovietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) and received a report on the Corporation’s internal control efforts.
Mr. Do Trung Kien, Deputy Director General of Vietnam’s International Cooperation Department, greeted the Cambodian Delegation on behalf of the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam. Representing PV GAS were Mr. Trieu Quoc Tuan -Member of the Board of Directors (BOD), Mr. Nguyen Phuc Tue-Vice President, along with managers of the Corporation’s Devisions and Units.
PV GAS leaders welcomed the Delegation at its headquarter.
Mr. Trieu Quoc Tuan welcomed the Cambodian Inspection Delegation and the Vietnamese Government Inspectorate, with his gratitude for their trust in choosing PV GAS as the location for the meeting. He stated that it was an honor for PV GAS to represent the Vietnamese business community in reporting on inspection activities and current conditions, as well as discussing mutual concerns regarding internal control operations. The Corporation emphasized its commitment to inspection and control processes to constitute transparency and sustainable development. These opportunities for in-depth professional engagement with inspection agencies enabled PV GAS to learn, exchange ideas, and maintain its position as a leading enterprise in Vietnam’s gas industry, while also improving its brand regionally and globally.
H.E Mr. Hout Hakthe warm welcome from Vietnam and PV GAS. Furthermore, he praised the Corporation for its exceptional achievements and important contributions to the country, with a hope that PV GAS would continue to seek suitable partners to extend its activities into the Cambodian market. The results of this visit would be submitted to the Cambodian Ministry of Inspection, and the lessons learned would be extensively disseminated within the field.

Representatives from the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam also affirmed that the cooperative program with their counterparts in Cambodia had evolved after years through coordinated meetings, positive exchanges, training sessions, and practical visits. PV GAS' discussions and specialized seminars had help to strengthen solidarity while also stimulating the discussion on experiences to improve governance and business communities in both countries. In addition, it attempted to address the obstacles/difficulties in maintaining the efficiency of management operations while protecting the states' interests as well as businesses' legitimate rights and interests.

The delegation from the Cambodian State Inspectorate and the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam also paid a visit to PV GAS' Phu My Gas Distribution Center.
The meeting underlined strong belief in the long-standing friendship and comprehensive cooperation that has existed between Vietnam and Cambodia, growing stronger over time, ultimately resulting in major contributions to the prosperous development of both nations.
