PV GAS Board of Directors announces the Resolution on election of its Chairman and the Decision on appointment of the PV GAS General Director
Basing on working requirements and cadre affairs, and the approval of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) has announced the Resolution No. 86/NQ-KVN on the election of Mr. Duong Manh Son – Member of PV GAS Board of Directors as its chairman. Moreover, PV GAS Board of Directors has announced the Decision No. 919/QD-KVN on appointment of Mr. Hoang Van Quang - Member of the PV GAS Board of Directors as PV GAS General Director.
At the online meeting on September 24, PV GAS Board of Directors announced the requirements on cadre affairs, in line with the Enterprise Law and current regulations; conducted the elections and published the election results. The procedure was carried out in compliance with the regulations, and the meeting had valid results. The PV GAS Board of Directors has signed and approved the Resolution No. 86/NQ-KVN on election of Mr. Duong Manh Son – the Member of the PV GAS Board of Directors as its Chairman while it also has announced the Decision No. 919/QD-KVN on appointment of Mr. Hoang Van Quang - the Member of the PV GAS Board of Directors as the PV GAS General Director.
Mr. Duong Manh Son was born in 1969, with Master of Business Administration and Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has worked at PV GAS for nearly 20 years. He has held many leadership positions in PV GAS key units and departments/boards. Since February 2009, Mr. Duong Manh Son has held the position as PV GAS Deputy General Director and Standing Deputy General Director. Since May 2015, Mr. Duong Manh Son has been a Member of the Board of Directors, and General Director at PV GAS. During this period, he has also held the position as Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee at the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, and Secretary of the PV GAS Party Committee. On September 1, he was assigned as the Leader in charge of PV GAS Board of Directors.
Mr. Hoang Van Quang was born in 1969, with the Bachelor degree in Machine Building and Mechanical Engineering; and nearly 20 years of working experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. At PV GAS, Mr. Hoang Van Quang has had 10 years in holding the position as the Director of PetroVietnam Gas Services Company (PV GAS Services)- PV GAS a unit and since 2020, he has held the position as the PV GAS Deputy General Director cum Director of PV GAS Branch in Hai Phong city.
