PV GAS honored as one of Vietnam National Brand in 2024
On November 4, 2024, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Industry and Trade held the 9th Announcement Ceremony recognized under the Vietnam National Brand program. Petrovietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) was honored as one of the enterprises with products achieving the National Brand status in 2024.
Vietnam National Brand is a long-term government trade promotion program aimed at building and developing the national image through reputable, high-quality product brands. PV GAS being gloried in this category over the years not only reaffirms its leading position in Vietnam’s gas industry but also demonstrates the its strong commitment to product quality, innovation, and pioneering capabilities.

Prime Minister H.E Pham Minh Chinh congratulated the efforts and significant contributions of the Vietnamese business community, and 190 enterprises with products recognized under the National Brand in 2024. The Prime Minister highlighted that these enterprises achieved impressive business results, with total revenues of VND 2.4 trillion in 2023, contributing approximately VND 150 trillion to the state budget, securing employment for over 600,000 workers, and actively promoting their corporate social responsibility, and thereby assisting with the rapid and sustainable development of the nation.
Currently, PV GAS is the only enterprise in Vietnam operating in the liquefied natural gas (LNG) sector, an essential field for ensuring national energy security in response to the increasing demand for clean energy. As of September 2024, PV GAS completed its LNG supply chain for industrial clients nationwide, marking a transformation toward an integrated energy business model that diversifies both products and transportation methods. This is a critical advancement not only for PV GAS but also for Vietnam’s energy sector.
