Ceremony for official announcement on the Board Chairman of PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation
In the morning of 11/12/2013, at the head office of PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS), a ceremony was organized to publicly announce the new Chairman of PV GAS Board of Directors. Attending the ceremony were, from Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group, Mr. Phung Dinh Thuc - PVN Secretary of Party Committee, Board Chairman, Mr. Do Van Hau – President & CEO; representatives of Party Committee departments, leaders of relevant departments; from PV GAS leadership, Mr. Do Khang Ninh - Secretary of Party Committee, President & CEO, Mr. Tran Van Tam, Vice Permanent Secretary of Party Committee, Chairman of Trade Union; Mr. Vu Dinh Chien, Deputy Board Chairman; members of PV GAS Party Committee Executive Board; members of Board of Directors, Management Board, leaders of divisions, affiliates and subsidiaries; leadership representatives of PV GAS mass organizations.
Mr. Le Nhu Linh is appointed as the Chairman of PV Gas Board of Directors pursuant to the following documents: Official Letter No. 2572/DKVN-HĐQT of PVN Board of Directors announcing Mr. Do Khang Ninh’s release from the post of PV GAS Board Chairman to become dedicated Member of Board of Directors cum President & CEO, and recommending Mr. Le Nhu Linh as the candidate for PV GAS Chairman of Board of Directors; Decision No. 1426/QĐ-KVN of PV GAS Board of Directors appointing members of the Board of Directors; Meeting minutes No. 212/BB-KVT of PV GAS Board of Directors on election of PV GAS Board Chairman; Decision No. 2569/QĐ-DKVN of PVN Board of Directors transferring the management of PVN’s contributed capital in PV GAS to Mr. Le Nhu Linh. 
At the ceremony, after publicizing these documents, Mr. Phung Dinh Thuc and Mr. Do Van Hau, on behalf of Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group leaders, handed the documents and presented flowers to the new Chairman of PV GAS Board of Directors in congratulation. PVN Party Committee also awarded the decision on assigning Mr. Le Nhu Linh – member of the PVN Party Committee Executive Board to join the Party Committee Executive Board, Standing Party Committee and hold the post of Vice Secretary of PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation Party Committee for 2010-2015 tenure.
On this occasion, Mr. Phung Dinh Thuc congratulated Mr. Le Nhu Linh on his new position, introduced and expressed his strong belief in the leadership capacity of Mr. Le Nhu Linh who has experienced challenges on various positions in PVN’s key members in the past. PVN Chairman also reaffirmed on the role and efforts of PV GAS in the development of gas industry, the reinforcement and development of Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group.
Also at the ceremony, key leaders of PV GAS, Mr. Le Nhu Linh – Board Chairman and Mr. Do Khang Ninh - President & CEO expressed their gratitude to the consideration, guidance and effective support of PVN to its members; demonstrating the resolve of PV GAS leaders and personnel on maintaining solidarity, promotion of talent, intelligence and practical experiences in support of fulfillment of tasks at best.
