The Network to Supervise the Safety and Labour Hygiene at The Workplace gets effectiveness in its implementation and obtains many achievements
To assess and record achieved results and set out directions and activities in 2020 for the Network to Supervise the Safety and Labour Hygiene at The Workplace, PetroVietnam Gas South East Transmission Company (PV GAS SE)’s executive board of Trade Union on May 29 co-operated with the company’s Environmental Safety Division to organise a conference to review activities of safety and labour hygiene in 2019 and set out tasks in 2020.
The conference focused on: reporting and assessing activities of safety and labour hygiene in 2019 and directions in 2020; and the Environmental Safety Division’s presentation about the implementation process of STOP (Safety Training Observation Programme) which aims at preventing incidents and injuries at workplaces. The STOP was updated and issued on May 12.
Group-based discussion according to topics which help improve the network’s capacity of the implementation and dialogues between employees and the PV GAS SE’s Safety and Labour Hygiene Council also were carried out in the conference.
In 2019, besides assigned professional tasks, PV GAS SE’s safety and labour hygiene forces developed their key role in ensuring safety and labour hygiene for gas works by carrying out communication frequently, supervising and reminding contractors’ activities on the gas works to ensure no labour accidents and problems to occur.
With positive and effective activities, the PV GAS SE’s safety and labour hygiene forces in last year obtained proud achievements in contests organised by Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) and Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS). These achievements included the first prize in the online safety and labour hygiene contest held by PV GAS; the second prize in PVN’s contest; the second prize in the safety- fire fighting and prevention organised by PV GAS, and others.
At the conference, PV GAS SE awarded prizes for the outstanding safety and labour hygiene staff and the movement of innovative ideas and COVID-19 prevention and control. More than 45 individuals and groups were honoured and awarded, making an atmosphere of the conference excited and staff ardent to compete to obtain higher achievements in the upcoming time.
The conference was organised seriously, discussed and had ebullient dialogues and good ideas to apply in 2020 and next many years to continue completing and improving more effectiveness in the implementation of the Network to Supervise the Safety and Labour Hygiene at The Workplace, contributing to the common achievements in the safety and labour hygiene at the PV GAS SE to ensure safety for its production and trade.
