PV GAS and Vietnam Petroleum Association Sign MoU to Strengthen Cooperation
On October 12, 2023, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between PV GAS and Vietnam Petroleum Association (VPA) was held solemnly at PV GAS headquarter.
Speaking at the ceremony, after sharing the achievements, challenges, and new opportunities of PV GAS, Mr. Tran Nhat Huy, Vice President of PV GAS, emphasized: "PV GAS needs the support and consultation of experts and leaders of VPA on issues of mechanisms, policies, as well as other scientific topics in the fields in which PV GAS is operating. This will help PV GAS achieve its goals and development orientations in the future."
Mr. Tran Nhat Huy made a speech
Dr. Nguyen Quoc Thap, Chairman of VPA, commented: "PV GAS is the nucleus of Vietnam's gas industry, a member that has actively and responsibly supported the activities of VPA. In the energy transition landscape, PV GAS has the most opportunities. As a non-profit professional social organization, VPA recognizes this as a highly significant and worthy address to focus on and accompany each other in overcoming challenges and embracing new opportunities".
At the ceremony, both sides pledged to have support and priority policies during the cooperation period in order to achieve the goal of long-term and effective benefits.
MoU signing ceremony between PV GAS and VPA
VPA is a hub of intellect, holding the responsibility to provide advice, critique, and suggestions to support its members in operating more efficiently. PV GAS would actively seek consultation from VPA regarding proposals, solutions, and recommendations (including policy mechanisms) related to its and its units’ business sectors and production activities.
Dr. Nguyen Quoc Thap highly praised PV GAS
In the coming time, both parties will consider establishing joint forces to develop specific implementation programs, and specific task assignments. For each, both will sign agreements/contracts in accordance with current legal regulations and the capacity and experience of each party.
VPA specifically proposed that PV GAS consider selecting projects to participate in state-level construction awards or Ho Chi Minh Awards (in the field of technology/gas projects, etc.). VPA would provide advice and support to PV GAS in achieving this goal.
