Following the directives of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam), the President and CEO of Petrovietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) strictly required all of its units to implement safety and fire prevention measures during the 2025 Lunar New Year (Tet). 

Over the course of 35 years, alongside its business, Petrovietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) has cultivated beautiful humanistic values through meaningful corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities.

During the 2025 Lunar New Year, PV GAS and its Labor Unions organized thoughtful activities.

On the occasion of the 2025 Lunar New Year, journalists had an exchange with Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of PV GAS’ Board of Directors (BOD), to reflect on the remarkable progress of the Corporation over the past year and discuss its future direction.

Recently, a delegation from Petrovietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS), led by President & CEO Pham Van Phong, had a working session with the leaders of Nam Dinh Province to accelerate the investment procedures for the LNG Power Center project. 

On the first weekend of the new year 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam) and Vietnam Oil and Gas Labor Union organized the program “Spring of Kindness”. 

The "PV GAS – Green Energy Journey" marathon was successfully concluded on the morning of January 5, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City. This event was to spread awareness within the community with thousands of participants from across the country.
 

Low-emission hydrogen (H2) is considered a key factor for a carbon-neutral economy. PV GAS is a pioneer in research and development (R&D) as well as in promoting the production and use of low-emission H2 in Vietnam. On the occasion of welcoming the new year 2025, Dr. Pham Van Phong, CEO & President of PV GAS, recently had an interview with journalists about the role of the Corporation in providing clean energy for the country's socio-economic development. 

Recently, Petrovietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) and the Vietnam Coast Guard organized a conference to conclude a coordination agreement regarding the security and safety for offshore gas pipeline systems in the upcoming period.

On December 25, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Ria – Vung Tau held its 2024 year-end conference to award Certificates of Merit to 193 collectives and individuals for their outstanding contributions to the province. Among the honorees was the Petrovietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS).

It is projected that PV GAS will exceed its production and business targets for 2024 with numerous records and historic milestones. These achievements affirms the Corporation has once again been able to navigate challenges, including a greater-than-expected decline in domestic supply and demand for gas in power generation, fierce competition from alternative energy sources, and an incomplete regulatory framework for the gas/LNG sector.

On December 22, 2024, "PV GAS - Green energy journey" Marathon was organized by Petrovietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS), marking the beginning of a series of lively sports activities in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The marathon was part to celebrate PV GAS' achievements in 2024.
