To carry out the 2021 Work Program of the Corporation’s Party Committee, which has been approved by the counterpart of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, on January 11, 2022, at PV GAS Tower in Ho Chi Minh City, the Executive Board of the Party Committee at Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) organized a conference to review the Party work in 2021 and carry out orientations and tasks in 2022.

Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) has recently collaborated with PwC Vietnam Cyber Security Ltd (PwC Cyber Vietnam) to organize a Conference on network security assessment and cyber security drills at PV GAS in 2021. This was an annual event held to improve the cyber security and confidentiality of PV GAS and improve the capability to respond to network security incidents for specialized employees. 

At the PV GAS Employee Conference in 2021, comrade Tran Xuan Thanh - Chairman of PV GAS Trade Union on behalf of the Board of Directors, PV GAS Trade Union has launched a special emulation to welcome the 2022 New Year:" PV GAS determines to exceed all tasks and targets in the 2022 plan."

In November 2021, for the first time, the Vietnam stock market recorded five enterprises with a market capitalization of over $10 billion, including Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) (Stock code: GAS).

To carry out a program to support and take care of employees' health in the "new normal" working conditions, PV GAS Operational Divisions’ Trade Union held an online talk show saying about "Dreams, reality and healthy living strategies” on the evening of November 2 with the participation of its all employees and their families.

Although the Covid-19 pandemic has been basically controlled, there is still a potential risk of rapid and wide spread in provinces and cities where many gas projects and works are directly managed and operated by PV GAS units. Facing that situation, in last time, PV GAS units also carried out many donation programs for local forces in the COVID-19 outbreak prevention and control.

Petrovietnam corporate culture regeneration with the action motto of "Solidarity - Discipline - Creativity - Efficiency" is being vigorously deployed and becoming one of the solutions to promote the synergy of the Group and its units. Trade Union, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Veterans Association of Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) also are quickly coordinating to make a plan to regenerate the Petrovietnam corporate culture at PV GAS.

At the end of October, Vietnam Report Joint Stock Company (Vietnam Report) cooperated with online VietNamNet Newspaper to announce the Profit 500 list, featuring the top 500 most profitable enterprises in Vietnam this year. In the list, Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) was ranked among the Top 20 and is the 5th consecutive year in the high ranking group.

To contribute to honoring the value of reading books at Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS), the Grassroots Trade Union and Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union at PV GAS Operational Divisions have launched a program to donate books to build PV GAS Bookcase, spreading the reading culture with the theme of "Donating a small book - Reading thousands of good books".

Basing on working requirements and cadre affairs, and the approval of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) has announced the Resolution No. 86/NQ-KVN on the election of Mr. Duong Manh Son – Member of PV GAS Board of Directors as its chairman. Moreover, PV GAS Board of Directors has announced the Decision No. 919/QD-KVN on appointment of Mr. Hoang Van Quang - Member of the PV GAS Board of Directors as PV GAS General Director.

At PV GAS Tower, Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS)’s Board of Directors at 7:00 a.m. on September 24 organized a vote count from shareholders' written opinions sent to PV GAS before 16:00 p.m on September 23. The percentage of sent valid voting shares reached 96.85 per cent.
