Responding to the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign 2022 and as part of PV GAS Social Welfare Program, the Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) ‘s Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and its Executive Officer’s Trade Union on July 2 and 3 co-operated with the Ho Chi Minh University Medical Centre to carry out a free medical checkup and gift program for poor people in Kien Giang and An Giang provinces.

Practically responding to Workers' Month – the action month on occupational safety and health in 2022 launched by the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group and the Union to evaluate the management of security, safety - health - environment in 2021 as well as the first quarter of 2022 and to set the implementation direction in 2022, Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) organized the Safety - Health - Environment (SHE) Conference on May 21.

Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) on May 12 organized its 2022 Gas Products Business Conference to evaluate the production and business results of units in the business sector and to discuss sustainable development solutions for gas business activities.

The delegation of Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) led by Mr. Le Ngoc Lam, its CEO and the Board of Directors on May 16 paid a visit to Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) at the latter’s headquarters to strengthen their partnership.

As part of the social welfare program carried out by the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam) and the Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS), leaders of Petrovietnam and PV GAS on May 14 co-operated with the authorities and people of Vu Ban District’s Hop Hung Commune in Nam Dinh Province to organize a launching ceremony of Community Education and Culture Centre, which was funded by PV GAS.

On the occasion of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's business trip and his entourage to attend the ASEAN-US Special Summit on May 11 in Washington D.C., in the presence of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and US Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo, Vietnam's Minister of Investment and Planning Nguyen Chi Dung granted the Investment and Business Registration Certificates to the Son My LNG Terminal Project of Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) and AES Corporation (in the U.S.). Mr. Hoang Van Quang – CEO of Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) and Mr. Berned Da Santos - AES Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of AES Corporation were representatives to receive the Certificates. Mr. Le Manh Hung – CEO of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group and some other representatives of the Group's leaders witnessed the awarding ceremony.

PV GAS has just updated its financial targets of the first 4 months of 2022 with total estimated revenue at more than VND37.4 trillion, nearly VND5.7 trillion for profit before tax, and more than VND4.5 trillion for profit after tax. The Corporation exceeded the plan by 41-87% and increased by 7-61% against the same period of last year.

The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union at Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) on April 28 solemnly organized its 7th Congress in the 2022-2027 tenure.

As of part in the 2022 Work Program, Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation’s Party Executive Committee (PV GAS Party Committee) on April 26 organized its 11th Conference in the 2020 - 2025 tenure to announce the approval decision for the voting result of the position as the Party Committee’s Deputy Secretary at the Corporation; to evaluate the results of its leadership and direction in 4 months, to set out plans and tasks for the remaining 8 months; to discuss the congress work of the PV GAS affiliated party sub-committees in the 2022 – 2025 tenure; to consider and approve the "Research and study plan to thoroughly grasp and carry out the Conclusions and Regulations from the Fourth Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee".

On April 15, in Ho Chi Minh City, Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) held the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders in 2022 to report its full-year 2021 operation results, discuss and vote on the 2022 plan as well as other important issues under the decision-making authority from the meeting.

On April 8, at PV GAS tower, the delegation of Essar Oil & Gas Exploration and Production Limited (Essar E&P) led by Mr. Pankaj Kalra - General Director visited and worked with Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS).
