On May 22, 2023, Vietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) signed a Confirmation Notice with supplier Shell, whereby Shell will deliver the first LNG cargo to Vietnam. 

The delegation of the Commission for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises led by comrade Ho Sy Hung – its Vice Chairman on May 17 hosted a working session to discuss the gas supply for electricity generation at the Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS)’s headquarters.

Leaders of the Trade Union at Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) and Petrovietnam Gas Projects Management Company (PV GAS PMC), Petrovietnam Gas Ca Mau company (PV GAS CAMAU) jointly held successfully the launching ceremony of Lung Say Bridge in Tan Hiep Loi B Hamlet, Tan Duc Commune, Dam Doi District, Ca Mau Province. This is one of the PV GAS social welfare programs.

Following the instruction of the Trade Union at Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS), the launching ceremony of Workers' Month – Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) was held with the participation of units in the BR-VT province on the morning of the weekend, May 6, 2023.

In the first days of May, the delegation of the Steering Board led by comrade Nguyen Duc Hien - Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission, Deputy Head of the Steering Board and Head of the Editorial Team developing the project of "Evaluating the implementation of the Politburo’s Resolution No.41-NQ/TW dated July 23, 2015 orientating the Development Strategy for Vietnam's Oil and Gas Industry by 2025, with a Vision toward 2035" went on a field trip to make survey on working at the production facilities of Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS).

In compliance with the provisions of the Enterprise Law and the Charter of Petrovietnam Low Pressure Gas Distribution Joint Stock Company (PV GAS D), PV GAS D, stock code: PGD, held the 2023 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade on May 5 issued the Decision No. 01/GCNDDK-BCT to license Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) to import and export LNG. Thus, PV GAS became the first company in Vietnam to be recognized to meet standards to export and import LNG.

Petrovietnam Coating Joint Stock Company (PV Coating – Code: PVB) on April 27 held the Annual General Shareholders’ Meeting in 2023.

As of part of the instruction of the Youth Union at Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS), the Youth sub-union of PV Gas Vung Tau Processing Company hosted and coordinated with the counterpart of units under PV GAS in Vung Tau to co-organize a 2023 Voluntary Blood Donation Program on April 28 there.

Activities such as the 2023 PV GAS VT Badminton Open Tournament, the summary of 2023 PV GAS VT Run & Bike Uprace and the journey to the Sac Forest Military Base Historical Relic Site - Can Gio, Ho Chi Minh City, all attracted and left a lot of impression on the employees of PV Gas Vung Tau Processing Company. 

Success, joys, efforts, determination to win – which were the highest achievements the 2023 PV GAS men's football open tournament "gained" in 3 very sunny days of April, at the football pitch of Ton Duc Thang University in HCM City’s District 7. PV GAS team lifted the precious Champion Trophy; The tournament’s 5 guest teams also received honors for their enthusiastic and effective competitive spirit.

As the 5th day of the “2023 Petroleum Spring" Online Race Tournament, a fairly high proportion of the "runners" in the 6 teams named PV GAS reached the targets of women’s 50 km and men’s 70km. The remaining runners were still diligently running every day, contributing every kilometer to the common achievement of PV GAS. In the midst of a busy April, the work pace was speeding, the moments of dedication to the tournament were all the more precious.
