Petrovietnam Northern Gas Joint Stock Company changes name into Vietnam LPG Trading Joint Stock Company

Petrovietnam Northern Gas Joint Stock Company (PV GAS North) has organised an extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting in this year in Ha Noi. Changing the name of PV GAS North into Vietnam LPG Trading Joint Stock Company has been approved at the meeting.

In the meeting, shareholders have discussed and approved suggestions about appointment and dismissal of members of the Management Board; change of the Company’s name; amendment of the Company’s regulations; authorization of the Management Board to set up, to approve methods of moving the Company’s head office to HCM City and to report changes of plans of using capital collected from bond issuance of Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS).

With the new name, Vietnam LPG Trading Joint Stock Company has stepped in a new path. The PV GAS LPG especially is the unique company to trade products with the brand name of PETROVIETNAM GAS throughout the country.

The PV GAS LPG continues trading LPG products in the country’s market, with the system of warehouses and ports, terminals for extracting and charging LPG, centres for repairing, painting and verifying gas tanks in the country’s northern region. The company has the largest number of shares in this region. In the country’s southern region, the PV GAS LPG also has had the high potential of development thanks to its own growth and large assistance of PV GAS.
