PetroVietnam Gas JSC organized the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders in 2012
The Meeting was presided over by Mrs. Nguyen Thi Lan, Chairwoman of PV Gas’ Board of Directors and Mr. Do Khang Ninh, Member of the Board of Directors, PV Gas’ President and CEO. Attendees of the meeting included members of the Board of Directors, the Board of Management and the Board of Controllers; 39 shareholders and shareholder representatives, holding 1,866,525,910 shares representing 98.5% total shares with voting rights of PV Gas.
At the Meeting, the shareholders and shareholder representatives listened to, discussed and adopted amendments and supplements to the Charter of PV Gas, in particular: adding "filling LPG into bottles, tank trucks" in Point 2, Clause 1, Article 3 of the Charter. After supplemented, this point reads: “Organizing the distribution and trading of gas and dry gas products, LNG, CNG, LPG, Condensate, etc.; filling LPG into bottles, tank trucks; trading of materials, equipment, chemical substances in processing and using gas and gas products; business of terminal and storage services, etc”. 
Clause 1, Article 3 of the Charter stipulates that PV Gas’ business lines include “Organizing distribution and trading of gas and dry gas products, LNG, CNG, LPG, Condensate...” and PV Gas has been granted the Business Registration Certificate by the competent authority for above mentioned activities.
Currently, PV Gas distributes and trades in gas and dry gas products, LNG, CNG, LPG, Condensate ... including filling LPG into bottles and tank trucks. However, according to Article 17 of Decree No. 107/2009/ND-CP dated November 26, 2009 of the Government on business of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), as a requirement for Certificate of satisfaction of LPG bottling conditions granted by the competent authority, the Business Registration Certificate must include the registration for “filling LPG into bottles and tank trucks” operation. Accordingly, in order to help PV Gas and its affiliates involved in “filling LPG into bottles or tank trucks” to be qualified for Certificate of satisfaction of LPG bottling conditions, PV Gas held the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders to adopt the supplement of “filling LPG into bottles, tank trucks” in Article 3 – PV Gas’ Charter; and would register with the competent authority to add the business line of “filling LPG into bottles and tank trucks” to the Business Registration Certificate. 
The purpose of supplementing the business line of "filling LPG into bottles, tank trucks" is only to clarify and add details on "Organizing the distribution and trading gas ...” operation that has been stipulated in PV Gas’ Charter and the existing Business Registration Certificate. This issue has been adopted by the General Meeting of Shareholders with 100% total participating votes approving the move.
