Petrovietnam CEO Le Manh Hung works with PV GAS
On the afternoon of February 8, CEO of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam) Le Manh Hung and the delegation met Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) to deploy the 2023 plan. The hybrid meeting was held at PV GAS headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City.
At the meeting, PV GAS CEO Hoang Van Quang reported its production and trade plan in 2023, difficulties, challenges and solutions; as well as recommendations for Petrovietnam.
From the orientation of the Group’s CEO on the meeting’s key contents, PV GAS leaders reported and discussed the motivations and growth potential of PV GAS in production and trade, financial investment, M&A, the business ability in gas infrastructure services, deep processing; promoting research and development to increase products’ value; and expanding research and development of new products;... The Group's leader delegation also discussed in detail about plans, tasks, proposals, and informed to clarify and respond to the recommendations of PV GAS.
Instructing at the meeting, Petrovietnam CEO Le Manh Hung agreed with the solution groups proposed by PV GAS, emphasizing solutions in "production, trade and financial investment" such as: Clearly defining short, medium and long term goals for reasonable implementation; Focusing on analysis, forecast, grasp of macroeconomic and market trends to adjust and update production and trade plans; Paying attention to assets evaluation to improve the efficiency in using, and developing infrastructure business plans; Researching and developing the fuel market, and diversifying products; Focusing on analyzing and expanding the market, especially the international business market, on the basis of connecting, taking advantage of the market advantages of the units in the Group; step by step expanding and pivoting the business models; restoring production in difficult units/projects; developing and managing the investment portfolio including development and financial investment, associated with products and business development strategy, synchronization with infrastructure; etc.
The Petrovietnam CEO also instructed the Group’s relevant divisions to speed up addressing problems, responding to recommendations and timely providing procedures to support its units and PV GAS in performing business and production tasks.
