ASCOPE visits PV GAS
As part of the annual working program of the Gas Sub-Committee under the ASEAN Council on Petroleum (ASCOPE), the council recently conducted a site visit to key gas infrastructure facilities operated by Petrovietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS), including Thi Vai LNG Terminal and the Dinh Co Gas Processing Plant.
Established in 1975, ASCOPE promotes regional cooperation in oil and gas resource development based on equality and partnership. Currently, ASCOPE comprises national oil and gas companies from all 10 ASEAN member countries. The annual ASCOPE Council Meeting plays a vital role in promoting mutual understanding and partnership among participants.

During the meeting, representatives from Petrovietnam, PV GAS, and PV GAS VUNG TAU exchanged insights on gas infrastructure operations and maintenance. Discussions covered investment, construction, management, and operational experiences in gas infrastructure, with active contributions from all participants.

The delegation expressed appreciation to Petrovietnam and PV GAS for organizing the field trip. They noted the well-designed scale, operational readiness, stability, and safety of PV GAS' infrastructure.

Site visit at Dinh Co GPP
The Vietnamese representatives valued the shared experiences during the visit. Both sides agreed to maintain communication channels for further knowledge exchange, aiming at optimizing gas infrastructure efficiency and explore potential cooperation opportunities in areas of mutual interest.
