Corporate Culture: For sustainable development of PV GAS

Corporate culture has always been actively promoted among employees of PV GAS as a crucial factor to the success of the Corporation, ensuring it remains a cornerstone of the organization's growth and progress.

Following Plan No. 5799/KH-DKVN from November 27, 2020, which outlined the renewal of Petrovietnam’s culture, PV GAS has implemented multiple directives. This effort aims at heightening the importance of corporate culture, making sure that it is conducted in a consistent, comprehensive, and continuous manner.

PV GAS has actively implemented internal communication in order to spread the value of "One team – One goal". The emphasis has been to stimulate solidarity, unity, and resilience among employees, thus creating a synergistic force to propel the Corporation towards sustainable growth.

 

Implementing the action motto "Solidarity – Discipline – Innovation – Efficiency."

 

As of June 18, 2024, the Communications and Corporate Culture Division had published over two hundred articles covering various aspects (production and business, corporate culture development, corporate social responsibility (CSR), etc.) within PV GAS and its units. Appearing on both domestic and international media, these publications offer high-quality, and insightful coverage of the Corporation and Vietnam’s gas industry in general. 


A significant achievement of PV GAS in the first half of 2024 was the integration of corporate culture into the collective labor agreement, which set up a bilateral commitment between the Corporation and its employees. From the foundation of Petrovietnam’s culture, PV GAS has been progressively defining its unique identity with a focus on efficiency. Employees are expected to understand and embody the Petrovietnam/PV GAS culture, contribute to its development, and support it in their daily work, together promoting a cohesive and vibrant organizational working environment.

 

PV GAS often hosts training and professional development programs

 

Treasuring earlier successes, PV GAS will continue to come up with measures that will embed and offer areas for development of the its culture. The Corporation will also follow the directives of Petrovietnam, aimed at elevating the collaborative culture in task execution across divisions and units. These efforts will be integrated with the thematic activity "One team – One goal" and the celebration of the 65th anniversary of Vietnam's Oil and Gas Industry, commemorating the fulfillment of President Ho Chi Minh's wish (July 23, 1959 – July 23, 2024) as planned by the Group’s Party Committee.

 

Pushing safety culture through competitions and drills 

 

Furthermore, internal communication is strongly encouraged to provide in-depth information exchanges. Key aspects include spreading the Corporation’s policies, strategies, and initiatives, as well as displaying exemplary labor practices, intended to boost work spirit, while also measuring the impact of cultural values on business performance through KPIs.

Last but not least, sessions, workshops, seminars, and training are frequently carried out. PV GAS always encourages its units to develop distinct cultural values while adhering to the core principles of the Corporation, facilitated through various mediums such as handbooks, publications, and newsletters.
