The peak of dry season and upcoming Tet holidays often pose risks of unsafety, insecurity and fires. To prevent fires and explosion incidents and to ensure security - safety for production and business, construction and investment, works, offices, material warehouses, LPG and CNG transport vehicles at its units, Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) has urgently instructed to strengthen security - safety - fire prevention and fighting during the New Year, Lunar Tet and dry season in 2021.

The contest of "Productivity and Quality Improvement Groups for Industry and Trade Sector" in 2020’s the Final Round was held in Hanoi on December 21, 2020, with the participation of 12 Groups with the highest scores. PetroVietnam Gas Ca Mau Company excellently won the Third Prize.

Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS)’s Public Art Show was organized on December 12-13. This is the 10th consecutive year Vietnam Oil and Gas Group has been listed in the Top 3 largest enterprises in Viet Nam. To celebrate the Vietnamese Teacher's Day falling on November 20, Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) on November 15 cooperated with the Thai Binh Province’s Government and People to organise a ceremony to hand over and put the donated Secondary School into use at Dong A Commune in Thai Binh Province’s Dong Hung District.

In the framework of the National Solidarity Day, celebrating 90 years of the traditional day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and continuing a series of activities called For the Dear Central Region, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics has visited and donated to the flood-hit central region in mid-November. PV GAS General Director Duong Manh Son joined in the delegation to carry out the programme with the Academy.

Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) on November 16 organised a ceremony to mark the first gas flow from Sao Vàng Mine, which is the part of the Development Project of Sao Vàng- Đại Nguyệt Gas Field, to the Nam Con Son 2 pipeline on the mainland.

To carry out social welfare programme in this year of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) has donated VND5 billion to Thong Nhat Hospital in HCM City to buy medical equipment to serve health examination and treatment.
